You missed the most important part of the line "I pray for a glimpse of Azor Ahai, but R'hollor only shows me Snow". It's not obvious in your video because you used all caps, but it's very blatant in the book - Snow has a capital S. She doesn't say "R'hillor shows me snow", she says "R'hillor shows me Snow", and that capitalisation is very important because in English it denotes a name of a person rather than just meaning the cold white stuff. It's meant to be pretty subtle, I guess, but it's fairly blatant on the page.

My theory on Jon, is basically that they go to burn his body (because they don't want him coming back) and with a little help from Melisandre (and possibly Thoros of Myr since he is rumored to be in this season), Jon will be brought back. His sword, having been in the fire with him, will also be pulled from the flame and will be the real Light Bringer. My guess is this will all happen as the Wildlings are preparing to attack the Nights Watch (and that is the battle Davos is getting ready for). So Jon will come back to halt that battle, saving the Nights Watch.

Having died, he will be free of his vows (and the Nights Watch obviously does not want him), so he (and some wildlings) will head off to deal with the Boltons (and will possibly meet up with Sansa along the way or after).

I do not see any way the Worg theory for Jon would work, at least for the show. In the books maybe, but in the show they don't show much about Jon's Worg abilities.

Also, while I do think R+L=J is the most likely, I keep hoping to see a twist there, and have it turn out that Lyanna was pregnant with Roberts child prior to being taken to the Tower of Joy. My basis for this is basically around Jon's appearance. He fits the description of all of Robert's bastards, and it would be the other way Jon would have a claim to the throne. Basically I just like it because it would be a twist to the popular R+L=J theory.

Clegane bowl will happen. Everything points to it.

If Lady Stoneheart happens in any way, I think it will be through Sansa. Not sure if she will die, but I can see her taking that role, as her character development seems to be pushing her toward something like that.

Now, to come back in a few weeks and see how wrong I was....

I love how this has nothing to do with games, but it's such a cultural phenomenon that we just can't get around it anymore :)

Highly entertaining, Lucy. Kudos, babe.

Great job, Lucy! I have a theory that Hordor was only pretending to be a thickie and is actually the Lord Baldrich reborn, King of the Sacred Turnip and rightful ruler of all dogsbodies in Westeros. Hail Sodoff!

I love Game of Thrones, but yet again this video is completely misplaced on this website. And as much as I like Lucy James; she could be doing ANYTHING else about gaming. Anything.

@DrunkenPunk800: Blah blah blah infantile ranting. You can either accept that Gamespot remains free because it tries to get as much content out there on games, movies, etc., as it can, or how about you fund their website all by yourself when their traffic slows and their ad revenue dries up when they limit their coverage solely to games? The website game has gotten more and more and more expensive over the years and many websites have had to expand their content to maintain sufficient traffic to make their buck. Accept it or find somewhere else to spread your childishness.

@DrunkenPunk800: @DrunkenPunk800: If you don't like it then don't read it. GS has become a different site in order to keep people visiting. There's a chance that if they don't pit these topics up that people won't keep coming back. Which do you prefer GS as it is or no GS at all?

A few notes (*** and potential spoilers**)

--The Lannisters sacked/pillaged Kings Landing not the North.

--Lyanna wasn't literally in a bed of blood, 'bloody bed' is an expression for childbirth in the books. The witch that acted as Dany's midwife also used the expression: “I know every secret of the bloody bed, Silver Lady, nor have I ever lost a babe,” Mirri Maz Duur replied. Lyanna probably gave birth like a week before Ned got there and died from puerperal fever, common in feudal times.

--I don't believe the Tyrion theory. Even though it sounds good, there was too much in the books to indicate that Tyrion was Tywin's real son.

I think the third 'Targaryen' would be Young Griff/Aegon the one that was hidden in Dorne in the books and is with the Golden Company now invading Westeros. I don't believe he is actually the real Aegon though, I think he is actually Illyrio's son from his wife Senna. He is really a Blackfyre, but he would have Targaryen blood and also be able to ride a dragon. This will set up a war for the throne between Dany and Aegon.

This also falls in line with the betrayals prophecy, since Illyrio's ultimate motive is to betray Dany and seat a Blackfyre on the throne.

Just from the trailers, I think what will happen is Euron Greyjoy will hookup with Dany. Ultimately Dany will use Euron's fleet to reach Westeros.

@mirage_so3: I think this is where the folks making the show are going to do their own thing, and George Martin is going to do his in his own time. They both apparently know how things wrap up, but how they each get there is probably going to be a little different.

For those complaining about the media coverage that isn't gaming: get over it already. It happened a good while ago and isn't going to revert to how GS used to be. If you don't like then I suggest not reading the topics. Posting comments in their boards will only go to prove their popularity and bring in more of these topics.

@mirage_so3: @ComputerNoises: I feel your pain, I really do but it is a case of 'suffer' the movie and cult TV topics or have GS potentially not be here at all. I can cope with these things and, where I can't, I simply don't click on them. Keep clicking and commenting on them and we will only see more of them.

I have been a member of this site for some ten years or so now and have seen myriad changes of format and none ever seem beneficial to the reader if I'm honest. GS needs to bring back the communities in order to go back to their successful heyday but I don't think that they ever will. It's a shame that they don't listen to their subscribers, we could guide them in the right direction if they wanted us to. Advertising is what GS seems to be worst for rather than TV and film coverage having said that though.

@computernoises: The reality is, they wouldn't be including this stuff if people weren't clicking on it. They can see what stories / news they are getting traffic on. I don't care about a lot of the movies / TV stuff (although I will gladly read anything about GoT), but people do. Apparently people also want to read about comic books (which I also don't care about and am surprised by). However, if people want to read it and want to click on it, then I guess the demand for it is higher than I would have thought.

Also, by clicking on these articles you don't care about, you are adding to those numbers that justify having that content.

So not video games? Why is this here? So is Gamespot going the useless Pop-Culture Entertainment News way?

The main reason I have favored Gamespot over something IGN is because GS didn't get into all this type of crap.

Bring back your gaming programming: The Point, House of Horrors, ANYTHING related to games, gaming industry, gaming culture... ANYTHING other than this type of stuff. I literally have all of the internet to find out this stuff. Besides YT is slathered in Video Posters who just sit and speculate about movies and Tv. We don't need it here. You are our source for VideoGame stuff. Stay that way.

Ok, a few thoughts.

Out of three dragons, two are like twins (the ones in the catacombs Viserio and Rheago or similar) so it could be Sersei and Jamie (they are twins and Targaryens love incest) so instead of Tyrion they could be the real Targaryens and Tywin was killed by his only son which would amuse Tyrion a lot. :D

Although I really love theory that John is Targaryen it hardly fits, heir (neither Lyanna nor Rheagar), vulnerable to fire and Ed would probably tell someone close that he is actually Lyannas son...

Undead threat seems pretty weak to me cause there actually are three dragons that could crisp them and undead are highly vulnerable to fire so it seems easy to resolve...

All of these are just plain guessing and are not ment to piss anyone off. Please, please, please let John be alive and Azhor Ahai. :)

Sorry, the Valonquar theory ties too well into Cleganebowl. Sandor is the "little brother". Maggie never specifies whose little brother. He will win in the trial by combat, killing his brother the Mountain, and by proxy executing Cersei. Jamie (or Tyrion) is far too obvious a choice.

I really hope that lady stoneheart stays dead, i didn't like catelyn stark when she was alive and i doubt that i will start liking her now.

I also think that there is a strong possibility that the first theory is true, that would explain a lot. If this happens jon snow will probably be resurrected.

Finally i think that a clash between the clegane brothers would be awesome. The Hound could finally get his revenge and kill his brother.

I figure anything that happens in the show, as far as major plot developments go, will need to rely on having been forecast within the show itself. So, while I reeeally like the Dragon Has Three Heads theory ... I worry that, because I don't remember seeing in the show any of the signs and portents which support this theory in the books, it's probably not where the show is headed. Tyrion the Targaryen risks feeling like an asspull to anybody who hasn't read the novels.

But who knows! Every time I think Game of Thrones is heading somewhere, they kill a character and go focus on something else. Either way, really liked your video. Thanks for that!

P.S. Clagain Bowl or bust!
