5 Epic Tomb Raider Moments - The Gist

I just noticed Lara sarted looking so much like Jennifer Lawrence in Hunger Games :-o

There were just sooo many wow moments in the history of this game...

I'm not sure what is epic about these moments !!!

My greatest memory of Tomb Raider is probably the first time you meet the bear in Tomb Raider 1. I was looking around in the hut near a pool of water only to turn around and see the bear rearing up at me. That scared the life out of me at the time!

And handing the controller back to her dad after dying in Tomb Raider 2. Yeah, I was old enough to drink when that game came out and yes, I remember the dinosaurs and T-Rex from the original Tomb Raider 1. I guess I'm just that old.

Jess, you never even played Tomb Raider Anniversary when it came out? That would have caught you up on the T-Rex.

Please a remake of tomb raider last revelation and chronicles would be super duper great.

Nothing will ever top seeing that T-Rex charging at me, well at Lara, in the first Tomb Raider, I nearly dropped the controller. Unfortunately, he wasn't much of a fight as I accidentally found a spot to shoot at it without it being able to touch me. Oh well, it was still the best.

Jess was only 5 years old when the first Tomb Raider came out,,,,

PS,I still have the original game and the original "The Official Strategy Guide" book for the first game.

I was looking so forward to the game coming out and spent lots of hours playing.

So yes,I do remember the dinosaur and may have to revisit it now.

Yeah I was impressed how lara picked up both pistols at the end of the rebooted first game. Made me smile to see the future games.

TOP moments are all in the very 1st Tomb Raider back in 1997.Any1 remember ATLANTIS LARA?

I've never played through the reboot but that last moment was definitely top of the top 5. Even with me playing at least 5-6 Tomb Raider games--including 2 and 3 and 4--all the way through.

I swear like a sailor casually so it's not like I have some moral stance against it, but I don't see why this video needs so much of it. "...fucking t-rex", "...you're fucking lara croft", plus plenty more. Just comes off as sophmoric and unprofessional.

I would have to include any of the underwater levels from Tomb Raider 2... especially when you're swimming in a tunnel and a giant eel snaps out and kills you in one bite. Totally scares the crap out of you if you're not expecting it! Also, the epic battle against a dragon at the end of Tomb Raider 2.

If I were to list 5 epic Tomb Raider moments, none of them would involve the reboots. Not even top 20 moments.
