Decent, but not a top RPG by a long shot...Read on!

I must admit that the game started very well with a stunning CG movie. However, this opening CG is the only great one of the entire game! The others are also much shorter.
Anyway, gameplay: battle are repetitive as hell and enemies are redundant. The stronger ones are the same just different color. lame.
The worse part is that although the story is somewhat interesting, you are not given clear indication how to win the game. You are to read between the line as to how equip, level and send the characters you train to the "other world" for the final battle.
I mean, a little bit of a tutorial and pointers would be great, but no.
The worst part of the game is the ending. After all the lenghty dialogues, the repetitive dungeons and monsters (you really feel you are working more than playing) you end up with a VERY VERY crappy ending. That is unless you get ending A, which is a bit better (there are 3 endings and B and C ones are pure crap).
To get the best ending (A) there is no way to do it but to get a walkthrough cause the game does not tell you how to achieve this. Lame again.
Anyhow, I was expecting much much better. I was hoping for more CG, but not. I would recommend this only if you played all the others AAA Rpg. Even then, I would recommend you skip this one.
