Nathan Drake is back and he is better than ever !!!
The overall presentation is absolutely phenomenal as you would expect from a naughty dog game, the story is great although not as good as UC2 but it's the characters that are the star of the show: best character models ever,exemplary voice acting and fun quotes from characters we have come to love from the uncharted franchise.
As for the visuals, it's easy to say that uncharted 3 blows 2 out of the water with incredible and astonishing graphics: environments look great, lighting is at the top and the character models are the best in the industry period, uncharted 3 is the best looking console game this generation to put it simply.
The gameplay is the least changed part the game, gameplay is still broken into three main categories: shooting,solving puzzles and exploring.you will still take cover and pop and shoot and the weapons feel just right. stealth is also a good way to approach each level and makes things easier rather then going into gunfights and spending a longer time, there are also new additions like the ability to throw back enemy grenades and to throw grenades while rolling but the biggest improvement is the melee combat which is more satisfying than before and offers more options like throwing enemies onto different surfaces and hitting them and every last hit is punctuated by and incredible slow mo effect that feels and looks great.
The online multiplayer is super fun with competitive modes and cooperative modes as well, and the more you play the more you will unlock : weapons,boosters,kickbacks,mods and characters to keep you engaged and it is really true to the campaign with the same platforming abilities which makes it feel totally unique.
So bottom line is uncharted 3 is an absolute must buy for fans and newcomers, it's filled with impressive charactes, memorable set pieces and a devastatingly addictive online multiplayer that will keep you hooked for some time, but in the end you might walk out slightly disappointed that the game doesn't explore new grounds but that is just not necessary since you have got one of the rare jewels of gaming.
