I wanted to find another FPS game to play after losing interest in the only other game I play on Roblox, and also because those devs are predators (no surprise), so I came across this. I've seen a clip of this game before on YouTube/Reddit (I can't recall properly) and at first, I thought it was some real life footage of a police squad rescuing a hostage, but upon closer inspection, I've noticed that the hostage was acting a lot like an NPC would, so I checked the comments of that video and found out that the video was just video game footage! It probably wasn't siege, it could've been another game in the Rainbow Six franchise, but whatever, it made me want to play this game.
I actually played Valorant before this, mainly because I was waiting for a good sale to go on, so might as well practice with other games. And I didn't really like it, mainly because of the cartoony graphics and the small selection of weapons to use (and also the fact they use fictional names for the guns). But in this game, I was really happy to see familiar weapons I did throughout all the FPS games I played (can't let my gun knowledge go to waste).
So, I played on and off for about 1 week now, and I absolutely love this game. It's waaaaaaay better than any FPS I've ever seen. The graphics are extremely realistic, the controls are understandable, and the character artworks looks so cool! I love how you can use drones to peek or spy at your enemies, or how you can rappel onto the outside walls to get into buildings without using stairs or ladders, it's so unique! The animations are so good, it makes me want to reinforce my own house's walls to prevent intruders.
I also liked that some of the character, or should I say operators, has to be unlocked with in-game currency. Which you can get by just playing the game (not the premium ones), it gives the game a bit more purpose in it. I do want to unlock all the operators, but I want the feeling of earning them too.
Now, there's just a bit of a negative I have with this game, well... not actually the game itself, but it's just that, my teammates could kill me if I was doing something they didn't like, like reinforcing the wrong walls. Now, I do play the game with my microphone disabled, so there was no communication there, meaning it probably was my fault. But come on, I was a newbie! I didn't know what to do. But then, I did see that the game has a solution for this, after being killed, it asked if it was intentional or not. I think this is tied into the "reputation system" that the game has. Which is great! If this can help combat toxicity, then I might as well keep playing.
Also, I didn't spot a single cheater in the game, so... Good job BattleEye!
Overall, good graphics, cool concepts, interesting features, and I even got to see Sam Fisher in a cutscene.
