I thought TS2 was good, but man... This game is the Halo 2 of EA games.
Story / Single Player: First off, this game may be a bit confusing if you did not play the previous Time Splitters game. This is, if you get it, one of the best storylines in a game i have ever seen. Graphics are crazy, detail on guns, enemies, and terrain are all revolutionary. Gameplay is also revolutionary, with allies, enemies, turrets, hundreds of weapons, vehicles, and every thing a shooter would need. What impressed me most of all, was the variety in all the gameplay. This game has; shotgun weilding zombies, lightning throwing aliens, emotional robots, exploding genetic mutants, cross dressing hippies, immoral cyborg monsters, five story high assault robots, swashbuckling englishmen, and insecure zomby killing teenagers. I think ya get the point. The difficulty is just right as well as the amazing range of weapons and situations. Wonderful story mode.
Multiplayer Mode: An excellent adaptation; wonderful levels, (even though i've made better ones :D) of course, an excellent array of weapons, even some not in story mode (Monkey gun, cough) and over 150 different characters. WOW.... i dont think any other game even has half that many besides TS2. Game types are fun, but u should be able to play more.
Mapmaker: This, is truly my favorite part of this game. A revolutionary installment for all games, this is the first series that has a mapmaker mode that is actually a main part of the game. By far the best mapmaker i've ever seen. It allows for players to make multiplayer and Single / Story levels. Pure awesome enjoyment.
Overall, it is TRULY a revolutional game. Nothing compares to it. Even halo doesnt even offer Mapmaker mode, and no other game has as much variety in characters, weapons, and levels. By far, my favorite game.
