Decent Sims adventure game.
This is the first Sims I have had since Nightlife. And I have seen a huge difference. One is that you can't see your Sim's hunger, hygiene, etc. meters, mood is called sanity, you can use the touch screen to compose music, draw art and interact with other sims, wrong interaction options (with sims) decrease your sanity, your pockets are limited and lastly, it is an adventure game.
The Sims 2 is short. What makes it longer is the checking in and checking out of clients, the building of essential rooms, and more. There are also bonuses (art work) in which you can unlock by making everybody best friends.
The Sims 2 has good and varied background sounds. They are at times happy, gloomy, scary and just white noise. While Simlish is still the tongue, the game puts them in English words which makes the player understand what they're saying (duh!). Sound effects are also heard (they are loud; which is good).
Graphics could have fared better if they didn't pass through walls. But they are still good, anyway.
Beware! Bugs are still there! That's right, it can crash, the touch screen interface may blur (not the vacuum cleaner!), a sim's sanity meter might go down even if they don't have an unfulfilled need, lights black out and the sim's sanity meter goes down (you also don't see yourself) and lots more actually. These bugs don't really appear frequently but I have to warn that you need to save constantly. And like the PC, you can save almost anywhere.
