You have actors, actresses living on sets somehow, you manage them, make movies, give them things to do in their spare time & direct a successful movie with sets, props & finances. Make scripts, develop technologies & churn out proper genre movies for your audience & make profits, this is the theme of the game more or less.
The details are far ahead of time I believe & just like The Sims, instead of managing a house you have to manage an entire movie studio production house. Your actors have tantrums, drink themselves to death, make issues it involves micromanaging every aspect till the release of movie. Good game, but low on replay value or continuity.
