The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is probably the best RPG to come out in a long time. It takes place in the land of Cyrodil. You start out locked away in a prison cell and learn that there is a secret excape route within your cell. The Emporor comes and recognizes you from his dreams. you then go through a practice dungeon and learn the basic mechanics of the game. you also get the pleasure of watching the empereor being killed right in front of your very eyes. you then escape through the sewers and learn of the lost heir of the emporeor. but once your out in the land you can do whatever you want. that is the beauty of Oblivion, you can do whatever you want, whenever you want. the land is alive through great graphics and sound. every character has full voice-acting. The gameplay is the best thing about Oblivion. you can be whatever type of person you want. do you want to be a master of the sword and sheild, or maybe you prefer a spell-slinging sorceror, or maybe a silent assasin, or maybe a cunning and stealthy theif. Its all here. you can also mix and match. the creatures get stronger as you do, and the game automatically tailors itself to your style of play. the game is long, and can easily last for 100 or more hours, do to the number of things there is to do.. theres tons of quests with satisfying rewards. Overall, Oblivion is the game that will make you fall in love with the Xbox 360 all over again.
