This is a very solid update to SFIV and if you want more characters, it's easy to recommend. The new characters, modes and super moves are very much appreciated. This game is freaking hard online and expect yo get your butt handed to you a lot, even if you're using a stick (which is pretty much a must if you want to play competitively). The nice thing is that most of the Shotospammers are probably still playing the regular version of SFIV since the main reason to buy this game is if you want more characters, but there still are a lot so be careful.
As good as this game is, it's not without any faults. Unfortunately, Crapcom is still using this game as a vehicle to sell unlock keys for on-disc content (which they erroneously try to sell as "DLC"), so they loose a little bit of score for supporting this evil business practice. Overall though it's a solid game and it's tons of fun to play when friends are over, even if you're not planning on playing competitively.
