Good
- Took everything good from NES Mario games, and perfected it on the Super Nintendo.
- Really fun stage mechanics. Gate climbing.
- interesting enemies.
- boss fights were diverse. Jumping on koopa to bump him into lava. Jumping on koopa coming out of pipes.
- visuals looked amazing.
- funny how mario punches yoshi's head to make him stick his tongue out.
- there's so much more detail in the background art. The varied movement between background and stage also adds the effect of depth to the level
- yoshi can jump on spike enemy.
Bad
- some of the secrets were too ambiguous.
- part 4 - 43:58 - how the f*** was I supposed to get past this hammer bro. The amount of hammers is like im playing some bullet storm shooter. You can't jump on him cause he virtually has hammer over his head every moment, and trying to dodge it from the bottom is near impossible with the catepillar there.
