Adventure, Action, and Straight-Up Awesomeness.

This game was amazing when I first started playing it. Graphics are really worth a lot, what you can expect from a Mario game. An OKAY storyline, because it seems mostly every Mario game has the princess being kidnapped and you have the fight Bowser in the end. Awesome levels that aren't too easy or too hard. To top it all off, the additions blew my mind, because they were so cool! When you get something in a level, the thing or person joins you on the Starship Mario, it was so epic for me! Oh and another thing, the multiplayer mode in Super Mario Galaxy 2 is also amazing! With a friend, you can get some extra star bits and power stars. I could understand when I got this game while it was so popular, because it had the things I listed; which I was very happy about! Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a great game is one of few which deserves a high rating. I truly recommend this game.
