Monotonous outposts, poor plot, overpriced but with discount playable, tasty, comfortable, averagely interesting.

User Rating: 5 | Star Wars Outlaws PC

Boring, monotonous outposts and ventilations throughout the game. Poorly thought out battle, you will replay and especially take damage even on easy. The game is not comfortable, you do not feel understanding where you are and what you are, there is no compassion and presence, a feeling of confusion. This applies to the person, gameplay, story, outposts, city ("maze"), characters and graphics. Somewhere after half of the game begins interest, presence, understanding, it is comfortable to be and play despite the same outposts and ventilations with the same puzzle. The plot wakes up, there are more interesting cutscenes, the monster boss, but that's all, back to routine outposts.

The graphics are murky, i miss the sharp and clear graphics with realistic color and control of the early 00s (Max Payne 1, Mafia 1), there were problems with taking damage, but the control was believable, realistic and comfortable. The graphics are stagnant, becoming murkier but the hardware requirements are growing. The game are copy-pastes of outposts and the price is growing.

There is no plot, no direction, no cutscenes, no human development, emotions, no graphics.

No gameplay, absolutely no ideas, for realistic feel they make a delay and slowness, this is exactly the opposite of realism and makes the gameplay unfair and boring. And the characters doesn't react when necessary, he continues to slowly finish the previous action, for example, release the rope so slowly as if it were a baby who is carefully placed on the floor. The character confuses some commands or they simply don’t work - bugs, the character simply doesn’t react at all, is in a delay and turns on - failure or he is killed. Some commands are confused by the character or they simply do not work - bugs, the character simply does not react at all, attacks the wrong person, the target gets confused, is in a delay, don't know what to do and turns on - failure or he is killed. Platforming errors and unfinished shortcomings. In short - there are a lot of errors and hackwork because of what i replayed many times on easy. If someone may like the monotony, but such things are absolutely unacceptable, this is literally stealing money - the product is broken. And to sell such a game for 70+ dollars, no words will do here. The developers claim that development is becoming more expensive but there are very good indie games which refutes the words of greedily large companies that literally steal millions. And you do not buy this game but play while the store allows you, which according to the rules, can send you to hell at any time or close. Only in Gog you can buy a game client and not depend on the store. It amazes me immensely the millions of gamers are silent about this and even buy this overpriced games. The game is 4 out of 10 if it was 15$, because it is playable after pumping up the gun, plus you can use guns of the killed enemies. It's 3rd person platformer, bad but doable. there is a teleport. The game is not stretched out, somewhere around 10-20 hours the main plot. There is a button that shows the places of interaction to go further, to find the way to the outpost, but this ability does not always work and helps rarely. Monotonous outposts are made tasty, you want to do it despite the minuses. The plot wakes up. You can fly in space and fight, not quality but still. There is an easy difficulty. But it's not 15$, it's 70+ and like i said, you don't even buy it. Even if you beat the game, you won't play it again. And there is no new game plus mode. Which means that the developers don't understand anything about games, and when you play a game made by people who don't understand anything about games, you suffer a lot. And if you're familiar with Ubisoft games, you know that their games are immediately associated with the word suffering. These companies are those bad guys from their stories. Metacritic, how you choose the critics? They stupid like old shoe. Spanish Shame.

Nov. Fix 1.4... The level of the plot and monotony of the gameplay remained the same: copy-paste outposts and ventilations, the game just in general became honest, plausible in the plot mode, fast nice controls and settings. But weird that there are no the most important options of difficulty: accuracy and attentiveness of opponents, their accuracy crazy and when there are a lot of them, how can it be plausible? If you are seen, start the worm's work again. I have not seen anything interesting and beautiful in a game about space. [You should be ashamed in front of Tomb Raider, which has awesome rock climbing and other extreme situations and awesome views. Always new locations and progression through the plot, new puzzles, situations.] Space is not bad, the starship is like a toy, controllable but toy. Pleasant realistic controls of the character - tasty. I like the speeder. I like the character and Nix, his help and puzzles. But copy-paste outposts... What kind of hackwork is this?

Graphics improvement sharpness+ became possible to improve in Nvidia (Filters)(and i add also the default contrast filter with a little increase in exposure, despite the fact that HDR and bright in game is at maximum, the TV is in game color mode (HDR but not so bright), because the HDR mode is too bright, but it is still dark in some places). The game, at least with Nvidia is beautiful now, working good.

You, Dear Ubisoft, need to set your priorities correctly - the main thing is the plot and gameplay, not a bunch of junk, copy-paste outposts and long distances. Convenience, graphics - clear, convenient, and then the effects, provided that they do not violate convenience. And the price should be normal. Yes, there are many interesting things in the game, the game is not stretched, but it’s all almost without a plot and there is no NG+, and it’s all based on the same type of outposts and ventilations, as i already wrote, all the game. Why upgrade weapons, etc., if the game is over by the end? There should at least be NG+, at least! The battles lack of bosses and tactics. The only tactics thing in the game is to switch the blaster to some wall breaker thing, that you need in some places. There is no navigation in many tasks, that is, the labyrinths remained, to go through the back door, which practically must be lucky to find it in another corner of the city, etc., many similar inconveniences that take a lot of time and interest. Why are there so many settings, but no settings for this (and the accuracy and attentiveness of opponents)?? This is the most important things.

Plus, outposts that require some item should be unavailable with a written reason, because the player is wasting time. Reputation in the category of poor plot is empty. I do not mean to twist the players' brains with different endings, i mean that i don't know these people between whom i choose, this is not some kind of interesting puzzle, not engaging system. Outposts - what are they, what do they guard, why are there so many of these soldiers, why are they all the same?! And so on. There are a lot of problems in this game. There are no cutscenes at all, only identical dialogues with characters who differ only in skin. There is no moral message in the game, steal because you "have to". She got herself into a death sentence because of theft, why?! Nobody forced her to steal. Almost all of Ubisoft's main characters are bad, how can you sympathize with them, compassionate, how can you play for them with any interest?! this is impossible (*expansion in the last paragraph). Some are just mass murderers. They still say that they want to change the world for the better. In fact, they only make it worse and distort it, confuse good with perversion. And they do a botched job, hack work because of which the player suffers in the game, constantly replays or you are constantly being hit (literally several times in a few minutes), some attacks, at the slightest thing dozens of soldiers at once, etc., or bugs, in some places it's beautiful, in some places it's ugly, in some places it's normal, in some places you run around until you're exhausted, run for kilometers... etc. To write down all the problems of Ubisoft games alone, you need a whole book, just a list of mistakes.

I bought the game at a good discount, 50+%, only the main plot, so i give the game 5 out of 10. Because it's monotonous, not empty but poor, primitive, but playable, comfortable, beautiful (not always and with good pc) and other what i wrote, controls, stealth, action, puzzles, sounds, dialogues are monotonous but are felt quality and tasty, there is a desire to play the game again, i like the character and Nix, activities. Lunch with Nix surprised me for the better. Turning a blind eye to the stupidity at the core of the character I'm waiting for a discount on DLC.. Games in general are more expensive than must be, because there are a lot of them and who will buy games for 70 dollars every week or month?! The rich minority. In addition, if the game is average, how can you pay 70+ dollars?! And greed for paid, and not only paid, but expensive additional several plot quests - greed and disgusting. You should not be greedy, but make good games. Especially that Ubisoft has experience, but they always leave successful projects and make some crap. What happened to the controls and combat of Altair with Ezio, their graphics and plot? Disappeared like the wind. Or they make murky graphics on purpose, or they don't install NG+ and stretch it out to the point of impossibility in a good game, or they make stupid, undeveloped or bad main characters, they ruin their own games with stupid decisions. Why can't they release a working game right away? What have these couple of months given you? Finish the project and release it. Common sense has to be explained, this is weird. Make a normal plot, normal interesting honest gameplay, with normal settings, with normal dodging, aiming, enemy accuracy, etc., without any stupid black bars, turbidity, difficult dodging, etc. What is the problem? Make all these difficulties and inconveniences optional at the player's choice, elementary.

(*mentioned expansion) There are games where the character is just a gangster and the game is perceived normally, because it is done correctly: you understand that this game is a joke, you do not feel that the game is trying to make you believe otherwise about the character and does not try to justify the protagonist, like in GTA. But in such plots as this game, like Mafia, the viewer begins to have a conflict of perception, when reality is not presented as reality. The character is a fool and that's it, feel the life of a criminal playing with interest in the gameplay, enjoying the atmosphere. But in plot projects, where the concentration is on the character, sympathize with him, be him, understand him, want to win, then you are hindered by attempts to justify him if he is wrong or stupid, in a game that claims to have a serious plot, which implies compassion for the character, i can't be him because he's bad and or stupid, i don't like it and i don't want to like it. GTA doesn't have this, there are no cutscenes and information that immerse you in the character's life that automatically causes sympathy, they don't show that he is a thief, but in some situations that he is generous with a kind heart, i don't know him at all and don't want to know him because it interferes - i don't want to feel compassion for him, especially there are no dramatic moments from his life that try to bring you closer to him, that try to cause sympathy for him or justify him. He's a cool dumbass and i just enjoy the criminal life in a joke style, where it is clear that this is a joke game, shooting at passers-by is not taken seriously, they are not perceived as passers-by, everything is perceived as a joke. A person understands that the character is an idiot, there is no need to try to get closer to him, to understand him, it interferes. The justification must be sufficient. These are human laws, the same as the laws of the image, if it is too dark, the brightness is not adjusted, etc., then it is impossible to play, as well as any other component. If the justification does not justify, then the plot immediately loses quality and fades into the background, because the character is the main link in it, we're trying to save the whole game the character, and not the world or anyone else and if the character is stupid and got what he deserved, then we instantly lost the plot. From the very beginning, the protagonist is a thief, that is, stupid and bad, attempts to justify him are not enough, that is, the whole game has no plot, well.. played like GTA, that's all. And unlike GTA, with confusion and inconsistency in feelings, because we don't want to be bad, we want to be good and we don't want to save a character like Kay, we want a good but fair ending, so that logical, good and justice will prevail. Sympathy for a robot is even more stupid, absolutely stupid. It's a computer, it doesn't think, have discretion, choice or feel. Only priority response, such as temperature sensor and moving face mask. You can create an illusion of choice for a robot, unpredictability with the help of a random number of these priorities, and if you program one of the random numbers to kill, then it will kill when this coin falls out. But a person chooses between these coins, even if one desire is weaker than another, he can magically inexplicably strengthen another desire, and not so that one outweighs the other. Despite all the contradictory influences and programming of lives. Animals at least feel, unlike a robot. The protagonist doesn't just need a robot, she sympathizes with him and pities him. )

AC origins, a 7 year old game looks better than Odyssey and even more so than this game, and AC Valhalla looks worse than Origins and Odyssey, it's unbelievable, and Origins requires 2 times less from the PC, listen to what is said here, it is impossible to describe this level of stupidity.
