In Star Trek Elite Force 2, playing as Munro you are sent out to investigate the attack on a space ship by an insect like Alien race. Combat with squad, normal assault rifles, energy propelled rocket launchers & the use of Tricorder to solve minor puzzles & figure out the routes is used.
The game is not completely linear & there are numerous secret areas that you can explore while on missions. With certain AI you get conversation options, in between missions you can also explore the Enterprise & eavesdrop on conversations. Certain missions require safeguarding a target or escorting to safety. The variety of missions is refreshing & does not get boring. The campaign is solid & deserves a thorough play.
