If you love Star Fox, you might like this game.
The one "big" issue that a gamer might find with this game are the controls. This game uses the touch screen for every function of flight control. Everything is responsive and manageable and after awhile using the stylus becomes second nature, but you might think to yourself "whats the point?". The use of the touch screen does not enhance the game at all, the D-pad and buttons would have done just fine. However Nintendo seems to be pushing the functionality of the touch screen on the DS. In this game it was just unnecessary.
Overall this game is not bad. Game play is decent. The story is what you would expect from Star Fox (although the enemy has changed from Andros to these fish people...whatever.) It really is just nice to have Star Fox at your finger tips. Bottom line- if you like Star Fox, you'll get a kick out of this. Try to buy used.
