This overlooked gem shows how publicity is everything in selling games.

The first time I launched this game, I knew I was in for a nice ride.
It simply had the flair that you don't get when games passes through QA and marketing, it was genuine. I love how you can feel what the developers really intended you to feel.

Pros
==============================================
-Real Bargain
=At around 20$, this game is simply a steal for retro or indie games lovers.

-Tweakable difficulty
=When you start a new game you can tweak your difficulty level unlike some games which I played recently which locks difficulty levels *cough* Mass Effect *cough* It can also get pretty damn hard if you crank it up all the way. x_x

-Memorable musical score
=The musical score is pretty limited but each song is enjoyable and memorable, it really captures the feel of a space cowboy.

-Awesome replay value
=With the universe generated for each game the replay value is also endless.

-Unique
=The game is basically a turned based RPG : you travel around various galaxies either trying to sell goods to make a profit or to liberate the galaxy from the Dominators by killing them.
You can also do various delivery or kill that guy missions to raise money.
You can buy upgrades for you ship which are generated on planets at random in increasing potency as the game progresses.
You can also boost different stats when you kill enough enemies and level up, making it possible to even hire any other ship you see to help you fight.
There's also plenty other things to do like scanning planets for items, joining a military base in an assault where it warps directly into the middle of a Dominator galaxy, defending planets in some kind of mini-RTS game,

-Deep
=Basically, it's the fact that there is so much to do in this game and that you can't be everywhere at the same time that makes it interesting.
The feeling that there is no wrong choice only what you decided was best to do at the moment, I love it.
You end up asking yourself questions like: "Should I travel to a galaxy to sell my loot or help this guy getting ganged up on first?"
You don't get this kind of choice in popular games nowadays.

Cons
===============================================
-Not finished
=It's obvious when you play this game for a while that the developers intended it to be even bigger but since they couldn't sell their game a lot, they kinda dropped the idea of a patch, so basically GO BY THIS GAME NOW SO THEY CAN MAKE ANOTHER :D
