This is one of the best 3D Sonic games out there. Even if your not a Sonic fan, this is still a great game on it's own. The standalone Sonic Generations was already an amazing game, but Sega wanted more from that, and gave us the ultimate package. Shadow's part is absolutely phenomenal and everything about it is stunning; from the flashy and beautiful graphics running at 120 frames locked and in 4K resolution, the amazing soundtrack scores and the gameplay being a glimpse of the future for 3D Sonic the Hedgehog. Everything in this video game is so polished up with a host of fantastic additions towards Shadow's mechanics. The whole idea of Black Doom coming back after two decades is great and heavily carried by the phenomenal hub world you enter in. You have Space Colony Ark, Rail Canyon, Kingdom Valley, Sunset Heights and Chaos Island. And even Westopolis from Shadow's own game makes a grand return in the absolute best way possible. I hope in the future, Sega continues to make 3D Sonic games like this because if so. Sonic is really back.
