I bought this game with my kids in mind, and well worth the purchase. My 6 year old controls the character and my 3 year old swaps them out. The games I like to play, my kids can't watch. But this is one that the three of us can play, together. Every morning all we hear is,"Can we play Skylanders?" My kids love the different characters and how they have different personalities. They will even act them out. If you're a serious gamer, I would say you could pass this title up, with no regrets. But if you're a parent or you like light-hearted games, with very little stress, then this is the game for you. This game is definitely a cash grab, with all the characters you can purchase and collect. But if you don't mind spoiling the kids, or you're a collector, then it will make little difference. When Skylanders first came out, I thought that I would never buy it because of all the extra money that I would have to spend, but after reading reviews and the idea that it was so interactive, I began to reconsider it. I would definitely recommend this game, to those who don't take games too seriously or want a break from the hardcore.
