Not the greatest survival horror game I've played. But still fun.

I've only played one other Silent Hill game besides this one. So I'm not going to be able to compare this one to the series. But this game was fun. It was creepy and the difficulty level wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be. A lot of the concepts for the game seem to be taken from the movie. Such as the atmosphere peeling away to reveal the "hell" part of the city, if that's what you call it. And the nurses you'll recognize, which are equally creepy with their twitchy movements. Enemies are also drawn to light, like in the movie. So there are certain times you can avoid confrontations by switching off your flashlight. Blocks and dodges need to be timed to avoid getting hit, and being able to counter-attack. Which was more challenging than I thought it would be, especially with certain enemies. I did encounter a few buggy areas. There were a couple of times that I couldn't highlight and click on an object that needed to be moved in order to proceed. But after starting the save point over, it worked. It wasn't that bad of a story either. There are 5 different endings, with skins you can unlock. Some of the endings were pretty ridiculous, or just didn't make much sense. But overall, this was fun to play. The graphics were good. And if you're a survival horror fan, you'll probably like this game.
