I've seen a lot of RPG's that have fallen into the same cliches over over again longing for a title with something out of the ordinary. Then came Shadow Hearts: Covenant for the PS2 and I knew there was a god up in heaven. This title features weird things from a carnival dominatrix to a wolf bout competition to see who the toughest wolf in the world is. It may be too out there for some people, but it breaths new life into the series. The fighting engine is well done too. It uses a judgement ring that spins after you have chose an action. Go get it and you might just enjoy it.
