The new puzzle quest is different and fun, but it sadly isn't as good as the first one.

I had alot of excitment for this game, but it sadly falls short. The characters in this one don't have enough characteristics to make you care about them like in the first one. Also the new battle system is just the puzzle game hexic, but the battles are always based on luck not strategy. I'm not saying the game is bad because, its actually very fun it's just if you've played the first puzzle quest you can't really fall in love with it like you did with the first one. The ways you can customize your ships and the mini games keep the game at a very good pase. Battles may get frustrating and even to the point you shut off your ds but you'll find yourself playing it again. Another downfall is that the beginning is very very long and hard to get through, but after that you'll be on your way to adventure.
