I have been in Vietnam for two weeks officially starting tomorrow. So far, I've been to Vung Tau, Saigon, and Bien Hoa. I *think* that I'm heading to Nha Trang tomorrow, for several days, which is supposed to be super beautiful and touristy. Even though I was looking forward to going to Cambodia, all I really want to do now is go home. :( I'm homesick.

Convents are surrounded with nice, clean buildings and beautiful flowers, along with vegetable patches and random animals. Sign me up! :P

Bamboo shoots are adddddicting to eat.

Vietnamese teenagers like to copy North America's fashion trends and fads. They put up with wearing skinny jeans in the scorching heat. :|

A couple of days ago, it rained really hard and the streets flooded up with water. The water wasso high thata truck's engine filled up with water and it choked. When my uncle told me this, I thought the mandrivinh itchoked, and I was wondering why nobody was helping him. :lol:

My five aunts, who are nuns, are awesome. They use the Lord's name in vain, they cool hella awesomely, and they travel like a pack of preteen girls.

Blackouts are common. I can't live without the fan.

But anyways.. HI GUYS!!!! I don't think anyone remembers me. :lol: Well, I'm blogging a quick update before I head off to Vietnam and Cambodia for a month. I'm traveling with my family and we're leaving Monday night, actually. We were supposed to go to Thailand too but decided it was unsafe because of some war. :?

This school year has been tough and I also got A LOT lazier than before. :lol: Next year, I plan to take Math 12 (it's a retake), Mini English 12, Literature 12 (someone kill me, please!), Foods 12, Physics 11, History 12 (YAY), French 12, and a free block. I also won the French award this year... FINALLY! :D:D:D That's right, bragging rights! :):):)

When school ended, I went to the last party with my mentor, Elaine, and I also went to BBQ's, the beach, shopping, birthday parties, etc. I have to say, it's probably been my most eventful summer. :? Today I went to a used bookstore with my brother, where everything is actually in great condition, and I bought 5 huge books for $2.00 each. :o:o:o

I've accumulated a lot of books that I have to read, and I already packed 3 not the ones including in the picture. The first 5 are the ones I bought used. :)

Ello! It's been a while since I've blogged, huh? Well, I'm on Spring Break and I just decided that I should finally blog. I don't really know if I'm back just yet, because Grade 11 has been really stressful but I will definitely try.

This is a silly story, but I couldn't resist posting it anyways. :P

*flashbacks* It is the 6th grade and my friends and I are interrogating our new student teacher Sean. We ask him really personal questions we find out that he has a girlfriend! :o Her name is Haley! Like the comet!

*flashforwards a bit* It is the 7th grade and we get new student teachers named Sonya and.. *wait for it*.. HALEY! Unfortunately, it is not Sean's Haley. Sean's Haley would not have giant sideburns and we would not see her pink, lacey underwear everytime she bends over. :evil:

*flashforwards a bit again* It is grade 9 and Sean adds Ivy as a Facebook friend.

Present day: Sean comments on Ivy's Facebook status, which says "just watched Se7en.. *freaked out*" and she notices that there's a chick beside him in his profile picture. She decides to investigate and finds out that they're engaged! They have been since February! Her name is not Haley!

*dramatic pause*
