@Daizun My other comment isn't showing up and I tried to edit it but ended up deleting it.
My original comment was aimed at some of the comments I've been reading here as well as Ms. Petit herself. Finding your own interpretation and holding it up as the only reasonable one is essentially an unwillingness to accept alternatives, alternatives that are just as viable.
Not looking forward to these two as the main characters... I'd gladly be wrong though and change my mind when I play the game myself but I doubt that's going to happen.
I went from "meh, maybe check out later" to "definite buy" when I heard Mr. Salvatore was in charge of the game's story. The amount of talent this team has is amazing. It's shaping up to be what I expected the Fable series to play like, albeit a few years too late. That seems to be the most universal critique of the game, that is it plays a bit safe. Amazing article to read, beginning to end. I tend to just skim over the articles for interesting bits of information but this was quite a good read. Hopefully, GameSpot does more stuff like this.
