All games are running through an emulator. The virtual console is a glorified emulator for the system. The problem is, these Ambassador games don't have the same emulator features that VC games on the eShop do. Restore Points and Sleep functionality when closed along with suspend features. Yes this sums it up. All I really want is them to update all 20 titles with the same features that regular virtual console games get. I feel that Nintendo released the GBA games early.
nes games already have this feature... just press home button and exit the game... it will create a save point..

Yes I know it has that feature but I am talking about how the other interface that has the load checkpoint,save checkpoint, reset features. This would be real cool for the 20 titles we got. Yoshi_64 is describing what I remember hearing. I do hope Nintendo goes through with these plans.
Yeah I did not actually hear about this glitch till a couple of days ago. I honestly have not ran into the problem myself but from my experience playing online I have had a good and smooth experience. I have had just couple of issues getting online but nothing that bothered me much. As far as people abusing the glitch I have not ran into anybody, everybody I have played with is playing for fun and not cheating.
I think that you're thinking of the NES VC games. I vaguely remember reading something about that a while back. They said that there would be updates for the NES games. I don't think that the GBA games will support that feature. They never said when the updates would come along though.Kaze_no_Mirai
I do remember both being mentioned (of course you also could be right) with no release date. Maybe it is NES games only. That save feature does come in handy though.
I remember reading awhile back that they were planning to update the Virtual Console games that we got to have a save feature like the ones on Eshop. Can anyone confirm this and does anybody know a release date?
And whoever said Hitman Blood Money was terrible game. Do yourself a favor and please go stick your head in the toilet and give yourself a swirly. I love hitman and got all the acheivements on that game.
