I agree, if anyone knew, NINTENDO would have known just what their system was capable of, and made games that really showcased the 3d-enhanced gameplay mechanics. They had plenty of time to make greast games for launch, even if 3rd party devs didn't. The fact that they released so few and instead focused on card games(literally) says something.

First of all, street fighter did well, and nintendogs did not have that bad of a score if you could play that type of game. \secondly, were not buying this system for the launch, were buying it for the games that come a few months after...

If you were waiting for games that came in the future months, should have just waited for the new 3ds they'll be launching with them, based on Nintendo's handheld history

I think the worst thing about the 3ds (at the moment) is the weaksauce opening lineup. Legend of Zelda aside, the 3ds is getting the same shovelware treatment the ds started to get near the end of it's lifespan. Please don't start the handheld off with petty titles, give us games with substance, with playablility and most of all value for our $$$$. The physical aspects don't bother me so much, only because I'm fairly sure they'll be releasing a newer model in the near future.
