New review- RE2 Remake

Hello everyone! I'm back after a brief hiatus because I've been moving and that's just not fun. But I've been playing a lot recently, including the remake of Resident Evil 2 that released earlier this year. You can find the full review here.

The short version is that it's a rock solid game in its own right, and features some good replayability, but I couldn't help feeling it didn't expand enough on the original in the way that REmake did back in 2002.

What did you think of the RE2 remake?

New review- Just Cause 4

Hello everyone. I recently beat Just Cause 4, and I decided to write up a review for it. Here is where it can be found.

The short version is that this is a disappointing entry into a series known for delivering some of the best destruction gaming has to offer.

What did you think of Just Cause 4? Does it live up to its predecessors, or do you agree with me that it floundered?

New review- RE4 Switch edition

Hi everyone, I've been pretty busy playing the Switch version of RE4, a game that I played to death on gamecube and have played to death yet again on Switch. Here is my review.

The short version is that this Switch version is a great port, and the gameitself has absolutely held up as one of the best action games ever made.

What do you think of RE4? Has it held up in your eyes?

New review- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

It's been too long since my last review, but that's only because I've been busy playing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Here is the link to my full review.

The short version is that it's not for everyone, but a certain kind of gamer who appreciates action that pushes the limit of video game difficulty will find plenty to love.

What did you think of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice?

New review- Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Hello, everyone, I've finally gotten around to beating Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on Switch and have finished my review of it. You can find it here.

The short version is that several small annoyances hold the game back from being truly outstanding, but it's still a must play for fans of the first game or JRPGs in general.

What'd you think of the game, people of Gamespot?

Not one, but two new reviews- DOOM and Super Mario Odyssey

After not really reviewing anything for quite some time, I decided to take a day off to review two games on the Switch that I enjoyed immensely.

My review for DOOM can be found here. The short version is it's just a blast of gory fun, and hopefully marks a turning point for the FPS genre.

My review for Super Mario Odyssey can be found here. The short version is that it's a blast to play, but the open ended nature doesn't always work.

What'd you think of these games?

Also, I plan on focusing more of my gaming time on Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I have about 16 hours in it so far, so keep an eye out for my review in the future.

New review- Steamworld Dig 2

Hello, all, I've recently written up a review of Steamworld Dig 2, which can be found here.

The short version is that it is an outstanding sequel that refines all the elements that made the first game a smash hit and improves meaningfully on the gameplay foundation.

What's the consensus on Steamworld Dig 2, folks? Do we love it or hate it? Personally, I think it's actually better than Samus Returns in many ways.
