Why not just adapt other fantasy books? Mistborn would make an amazing film trilogy.

@stickemup: Yup and since it can take 5-6 years to develope a AAA game, there was no way they could develope more games to release during that gaming boom.

@angrycreep: I felt that way about MGS3 when it first came out but it has grown on me over the years. Dare I say, it has one of the best stories in the series.

@feral411: The thing with the prequels is that it ended on a high note. Episode III was very well liked. The Sequel trilogy was the opposite, Episode VII was well liked and then it went down hill afte...
