[QUOTE="EboyLOL"][QUOTE="M8ingSeezun"]The fact that I think hair metal is a criminally stupid genre of music doesn't mean that "I have no idea what I'm talking about". Some peopledislike bands thatfocus on image rather then the music itself (every single effing hairmetal band to ever exist...).I love Poison. In fact, I prefer the hair-bands of 1980's than todays PATHETIC WHINY Emo rock. At least these guys actually GET LAID. That's the problem with rock today..........there's absolutely no sense of FUN or no sense of Good Time Rock n Rollin. And more importantly, WHERE THE FCK ARE THE WOMEN? The overall essence of Sexuality is missing from today's rock. A staple of what Rock n Roll (back in the 50s) was suppose to be. Almost every band today is so damn serious, so confused (sexually), so emo or so damn whiny....its sad, pathetic and disgusting.
Poison do in fact represent "Hardcore Rock n Roll." Same as Motley Crue, Cinderella, Ratt, Skid Row, Warrant, Firehouse, etc.
The majority who despise this type of rock have absolutely NO IDEA wtf they're talking about. And NEVER grew up or even EXISTED in the 1980s.
But that's just my opinion.

Isn't that what rock was mean't to be? Guys with long hair jumping around with lots of energy performing kick&&& songs. Not the death metal garbage, not the emo junk, not men singing about sad stories in their life, but just flatout ROCK N ROLL! Songs like "Panama", "Rock and Roll All Nite", "Round and Round", "Girls, Girls, Girls", "Welcome to the Jungle", and so on.That's what my idea of rock is.
And just because that's what it's meant to be doesn't make the music good.
