Cross Country

So cross country started last tuesday, and its pretty hard. It's been pretty hot, but it feels good to be towards the front of the pack, the little conditioning i did before helped out. If you dont do x-c, well let me tell you, the meets suck. Basically you have to run 3.1 miles(5k for europe people;)) as hard as you can under the hot sun. the best places to run are in the woods, 1. because you have shade, 2. because you dont see how far you have to run. my best time is 21 flat, which is so so compared to the guys who get like 18 times, running 6 minutes miles 3 times straight through.

Art Musuem

So today I went up to the art musuem up in Richmond, Va. I'm not a art crazy person, but I do appreciate it when it comes by. Anyways, they have some really cool collections, they have monet and picasso, but we went because they had a jamestown special exhibit. they had really cool portraits of english nobles, queen elizabeth, king charles, king william III, and other people. it was really neat, the paintings were huge and it was neat looking at how detailed they are. But they also has some stuff on the other side, and one thing that really fascinated me was this Greek ring from the 4th century. Man, that is really really old. It looked brand new, i was AMAZED. it was gold, it sparkled, and the condition was unbelievable, if someone told me it was new i would have believed them. no dents, no scratches were noticed, nothing. it had stuff written in Greek, someones horoscope, and the owner of the ring was born in the year 327. i mean seriously, someone 1700 years ago wore that ring, that was awesome to see. they also had some really cool medieval stuff, but i could rant on that all day long.

Other Stuff

New neighbors moved in next door, and im kinda excited, i haven't had new neightbors in a LOOONG time. ones a 15 year old girl and a theres a 14 year old boy. my gf is nervous about the girl though lol, but its okay. Im looking forward on getting to knowing them. Today at the musuem, my dad said it was time for a haircut. I sorta pissed, since i think that i dont need a hair cut, and my hair has been a lot longer before, but whatever. my hair is sorta long, its not like crazy rocker hair that you might be thinking of. But im not gonna try to argue, its not like ill win:?. I can't wait til im in college and 18, i'll grow my hair however I want:D.

Video Games

Persona 3 FINALLY comes out Tuesday, and i pray to god that there will not be a delay!!! I've had my copy reserved since May 4th:shock:. Im sure it will be sweet:). I also plan on pre-ordering my copy of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for the ps2, it looks sweet and i want a competitive fighting game to playwith my friends like Street Fighter 3rd Strike, im just mad that the game comes out AFTER school starts.

Street Fighter

good stuff eh? So the other day i went out and bought Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for the ps2, used for $30. i was surprised at the price, considering it came out in '04 and its used, but after a little research i learned that its kinda rare, and i was lucky to find it at my local gamestop. and man i gotta say, im in love with the game. i got into it b/c of another friend who plays it on emulators on his computer, and i went over another one of my friends houses today and my other bud was there to, and we played for a couple hours, just fighting and fighting. the gameplay is so crazy. you think one person is about to win but then out of nowhere people will come up with crazy combos and man, its intense.

crazy huh? some street fighter tournament in ca, but its so CRAZY!!! that parry thing he did at the end is very VERY hard to do. you have to time it perfectly, and its amazing that he did itagainst chun li's special.

i'm going to call up gamestop tomorrow and see if they have Alpha Anthlogy in stock, thats only $20 and comes with5 street fighter games. oh im so happy. so so happy:).

and if you're wondering how my life is lol, its fine, cross country practice is getting closer and closer, and im getting a little bit more excited, im starting to feel like my summer is actually going somewhere lol. so far everything is a big meh, and my parents are being very meh, specially my dad, but whatever. street fighter makes me happy:).

well ladies and gents, persona 3 got delayed cuz something was wrong with the art book. now it supposed to come 8-14, and that means less playtime than i could have had, now its closer to school. and now all these reviewers are reviewing the game, giving it these great scores!!! AHHHH!!!! IM GOING CRAAAA-ZAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!! even gamespot has it a big thing on it on the home page! 8.5!!! im dyin'! grrrr....well, in the meantime i spiffied up my profile, im sure some of you might have noticed the profile header and the banner(done by mario161;)). beautiful huh?:)

well, i just finished Tales of the Abyss. many emotions going through me. i feel...hungry. 2 minutes ago i was watching the credits. idk, but overall i have to say it was an amazing game. idk if i like the ending though, but i REALLY REALLY REALLY hope there's a sequel. I definitely recommend the game to anyone who's looking for a great rpg. phew....man...that was so crazy!!!! well anyways, persona 3 is coming out on wednesday, and im VERY VERY hyped for it. i also need to get off my lazy butt and run a lot more lol. i ran 4 miles 2 days ago but once x-c practice comes around its going to SUCK. and thanks for reading this, I appreciate it:).

by the way i beat Tales of the Abyss in about 52-54ish hours:|.

Like the topic title? Had to get your attention somehow lol. well, i just wanted to say that Persona 3 is coming out in 4 DAYS. yes, it is, o, yes, it IS. are you excited? if your not, then you might be stupid. jk jk. well im about 40 hours into tales, and i need to hurry and get it done for P3. by the way did you notice my new icon? pretty spiffy, eh;)? that's the main character from P3(you name him in the game:)). anyways, i dont know if you guys now, but i applied for the theater some time ago, and i really REALLY wanted the job. unfortunately i didn't get it:(, they had a full staff. soi applied to my local a&n. i dont really care for the store, but they had a now hiring sign in front of the shop so i decided to give it a shot. and cross country, man and i behind my running. practice starts the 7th of august, so i better get in shape, but its so hot:|. meh. im such a pansy.

well whatever, but did i tell you guys that im reading The Count of Monte Cristo? its really good so far. not that far into the book, but its very interesting, its about revenge in post napoleonic france, i dont feel like typing up the plot, but if you're looking for a good read you should pick it up. well, that concludes my blog. now i will leave you with fine art.

im sure everyone on gamespot flew here to seethis blog as soon as they saw the OMG, cuz you know, everyone always does:x. grr. but anyways, i felt like making a new blog. sooo....hmm....well to start off, i'm still playing Tales of the Abyss. It's a great rpg so far, its really satisfying and i love the character development. i really haven't gotten bored of it, and right now im 34 hours into it. also, i've completed hitman 2: silent assassin and hitman: contracts, and right now im on blood money, and i gotta say its a pretty good deal for $30. hitman 2 was great, contracts not so much, and im enjoying blood money a lot right now.

o yea, i dont know if anyone noticed but i changed my icon to Luke from tales of the abyss. dante was gettin' kinda old, and a lot of people used similar icons, so i like the new look. i alsowant to get hooked up with a banner of some sort, and i heard about a union called pinbot graphix that can do just that, so i might make a request later, right now i have them tracked. anyways, i've been getting back into runnin again, idk if any of you guys know, but i run cross country and track, and x-c(short for cross country so you guys know) season is coming up so i've been running a couple miles every day, and i gotta say, its freakin' hot:cry:. yea i know i know, stop cryin' ya pansy. back to game talk. sooo, Persona 3's release is coming up soon, and i gotta say,i need to beat tales of the abyss! p3 is gonna be so sick!!! AHHHH!!! I WANT IT NOW!!!!!! well, now i leave you with pics of P3. dont stare too long, u still have to eat and sleep!

So today my dad and I went out and bought the Hitman Trilogy for the ps2 at gamestop. bought it new, and realized that on the blood money box, there's a big cut on the side, like someone was trying to cut the plastic or something. this ticks me off cuz i bought it new, and expect the whole thing to be in new condition. all the games are untouched, but still, gamestop really ticks me off sometimes:evil:. anyways, the game's are still great, im starting with 2, then to contracts, then to blood money.

I don't like it, I don't like it one bit. People are saying stuff like 'OMG why do you care so much? its not like .1 to .5 is a big difference!!!!' i mean if its not a big difference, then why the heck are we changing! i like detailed reviews!!!! who doesn't? its not like they're hard to understand:evil:!!!! im picky when i buy games, so detailed reviews are exactly what i want! i think the whole medal system is somewhat creative, i guess, but overall, the way we have it now is a lot better. I don't fear change, i fear suck:evil:!

There's a ton of people who don't like it, you can see the comments that people left in the article about the review changes. What is the world coming to??? Why did you leave greg, look what they're going to do to our gamespot:cry:!!!! maybe im overreacting a little, but i dont like it, and thats all that matters. What do you guys think????

alright, after 62 freakin' hours, i beat suikoden 3. and to be honest, it just wasn't worth it. im sorry, but 108 characters is just too much for me to keep up with. i beat it with Hugo as the FC if anyone wants to know

i've FINALLY started Tales of the Abyss, and i can tell already that i'm gonna like it a lot more than suikoden. the characters in tales have a lot more personality and i love it, and i think luke's stuck up character is hilarious. the graphics are really pretty and the voice overs are great, but the loading times are a little annoying. other than that, im excited.:). by the way, please feel free to comment, commments are welcome:D

Well i'm finally on the last chapter with hugo(that means im close to beating the game), and to be honest, i don't know if i really liked suikoden.  it was alright, just didn't suit my tastes.  after playing skies of arcadia i realize that i like rpg's that focus more on character development rather than political kinda stuff, although i would say suikoden did have a lot of character developement, i just didn't find it interesting.  when im done with suikoden i can FINALLY start with Tales of the Abyss.  yay:).  about time.
