I need to get this blog out of my system. :P
Mobile Suit Gundam 00
Thoughts:
Step aside Gundam Seed, this is Mecha series I've been waiting for. I'm currently 13 episodes into the second season and loving it. For some reason I couldn't get into Gundam Seed or Gundam Seed Destiny but Gundam 00 had me hooked from the start, the same way Wing did back in the day.
Plot:
The storyline is typical Gundam. A small group of young people name "Celestial Being" is sent to earth with Gundams to eradicate war and attain peace? Sound fimiliar? I would have lost interest but there's a twist, Celestial Being is being lead by a mysterious leader named Aeolia Schenberg who's true intentions for the Gundam pilots are unknown.
Btw, I loved the 2nd opening theme song for the first season.

Code Geass
Thoughts:
Code Geass is basically Death Note meets Gundam with a little bit of Valkyria Chronicles sprinkled on top. I somehow got through the first season of this show and didn't realise there was another 25 episodes to watch! The first season ended on a big cliffhanger (an important character was shot in the head) so I'm not sure how the second season turn out.
Plot:
The series is set in an alternate universe where there are three remaining superpowers: The Holy Britannian Empire, The Chinese Empire and The Euro Unverise. Lelouch is the super intelligent chessmaster protangonist who lives a double life; goes to school during the day and leads an empire during his off time. He ends up gaining possession of telekintic powers which let him control peoples thoughts. Unfortunately these powers come with a cost.
Darker then Black
Thoughts:
I'm only three episodes in but this show seems very intersting so far. I started watching the Englished dubbed episodes on youtube now I'm going to back to Japanese subs. (which I prefer in most animes)
Plot:
Ten years ago from now a giant wall appeared in Toyko called Hell's Gate. Hell's Gate brought with it grreat destruction on the Tokyo's landscape and brought forth supernatural beings possessing special abilities. Some use these abilities for good while others use them for murder, these people are called the Contractors. Contractors are emotionless killers who will stop at nothing to complete their assigned missions. The main protoganist named Hei who is an elite Contractor and is a spy and assassins. Unlike other contractors he seems to have a conscience though. By day he is the gentle-heart student who works at a factory and at night he puts on the mask and becomes rutherless Contractor (contract killer) called The Black Reaper.
Ergo Proxy
Thoughts:
I've only watched the first episode but am hooked. This is dark sci-fi anime with an interesting plot.
Plot:
The starts off in a post apolocytic future in the domed city called Romdeau. In this city humans and androids coexist under a governing total management system. A virus called the Cogito virus is spreading among the androids and is causing them to become self-aware (and we all know what that means). Behind the scenes, the government has been conducting top-secret experiments on a mysterious humanoid life form called a Proxy. Proxy beings are immortal and are believed to hold the key to the survival of mankind.
Some other animes I've been considering:
Eden Of The East - Production I.G did the animaiton for this, the same studio who did Stand Alone Complex.
Black Lagoon - Seems cool enough.
Samurai Champloo - I missed this one.
