It's a bit difficult to answer. It is both good and bad things about it. Minecraft was just a small project that was made for fun. It began to become popular and so it continued. It was perhaps a little too large for the few developers to keep up. It's probably best that Microsoft comes when they have the available resources to it. But I hope that they will keep the theme and don't change to much.
