Happy birthday to my favourite video game franchise of all time. Favourite Characters: Kung Lao, Reptile, Baraka, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Raiden, Ermac, Rain, Noob Saibot and Scorpion
I want an all ACC final 4--Terps, Deamon Deacons, Tarheels and Blue Devils. My sleeper teams are BYU and Miss. State. If none of my ACC teams take the tourney, then I wouldn't mind Pitt, U-Conn or Mizzou taking it . No Louisville
Do you people even watch basketball? T-Mac is my boy, and for anybody that knows basketball they would know that at times it may seem like he has a lazy eye. What we need ta see now is that vein that normally pop up on his right shoulder I think it is especially visible when he is at the free throw line. I see that they even got it on Steve Nash too. All hail to photorealism cause he sometimes seems like he has a lazy eye too. It's just a darn shame that NBA Live 08 doesn't play as good as it looks or it would have been a must own this holiday season. And i don't care what the article is trying to infer, but I am currently playing NBA 2k8 for the 360, and the players look great to me except for a few deformities here and there on certain players
My only love hate is with the save points in certain games. It's kinda frustrating to be on your last and looking for a save point only to be hit before u could reach it (check ne of the GBA and DS Castlevanias and Baldur's Gate series). The Nintendo spring loader thingy was an appropriate honorable mention, but it never used to bother me much because rarely would I get mad because I couldn't load a game. What I used to do is a technique called "edging" the cartridge where instead of pushing it in all the way you would actually snap the end edge of the cartridge on the inside edge of the console, and it worked like a charm for me.
Hmmm. The games that make me look cool. I guess the games that leave an impression on my guests. Then those would have to be: 1. The whole Mortal Kombat series. By now, if people see me pop in MK Deception (XBox) they are not as wowed as when I pop in Ultimate MK3 or MKII for Super Nintendo, so that is a definite cool factor. MK is just the coolest series ever. 2. My TMNT collection. Everybody loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and to be able to play the Original psuedo overhead/sidescroller TMNT to the TMNT: Turtles in Time on Super Nintendo is just cool in itself. P.S. Turtles in Time game is probably my favorite game of all time. 3.The epitome of cool is Bomberman AKA Rockman in Japan AKA Megaman. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to play this game on Nintendo, but I have the Collection on XBox, and it is sweet. The Blue Bomber is by far one of the coolest videogame character ever, and he has a certain charm that cannot be matched by anyone. 4)The next character that emanates coolness in my collection is that little italian plumber and his brother, Mario and Luigi. Super Mario Bros 3, no matter how classic it may be, is still a ton of fun to play, and whenever I have friends over and I pop this game in, they are always like "Oh. S***! I can't believe that you have this game. That's so retro man." Plus, Mario constitutes a good portion of my videogame collection, but I only play Super Mario World (Super Nintendo), Super Mario 64 DS, The New Super Mario Bros and the aforementioned SMB3. And who would argue that these games aren't cool? 5)Last, and not least, the next constituent of my collection. The Castlevania series. Nothing is cooler than having all GBA editions of Castlevania, plus Aria of Sorrow on the DS. Oh yes there is. Castlevania IV for the super Nintendo. I always enjoyed Castlevania on NES, but this game was so complete that I found myself cursing the undead as I whipped, crawled, knifed, axed, holy watered my way through its environments. Now how cool is that. I believe that these games were what made me cool since I would be talking about the finishing move that I did in MK, the stage that I'm at in TMNT, or that stage in SMB that I couldn't pass (y'know the castle level where you had to go to specific points in order to reach Bowser--Top, Middle, Bottom) and up to today I still consider Simon Belmont, Juste Belmont and, of course, Soma Cruz my heroes.
