WOOOOT Castle Crashers on the PSTrizzle!

Wow I didn't see that coming... and yes it was worth coming on here just to blog about it xD Actually, I randomly came upon gamespot and it was on the front page. This game is definitely my most favorite game in the entire Xbox Live Arcade library. I went over to my friend's house almost everyday after school just to play this game (and some other 360 games like Mass Effect, Left 4 Dead, Fallout 3 and Halo 3 but I mostly came for the Castle Crashing) since Winter. I stopped at the beginning of summer and rhe reason why I stopped going was because my friend's cousin moved and took the 360 with him  I've beaten Castle Crashers countless times with all the different characters and it's 4 times the fun with co-op and the fact that every time you save the princess you have to kill each other for her o.O My main is definitely the red knight, his electric powers are WIN I tell you... also this game has an awesome soundtrack thanks to all of its songs coming from Newgrounds.

Well... I just hope it comes out soon and it'd be awesome if it came out around my b-day just like it did when it came out for the 360... also I'll be headed to South Dakota for the weekend to hang out with my cousin. I'd want bullet to go to if he was able to but I don't even think he wants to -_- IN CASE U READ THIS PENG I'LL B WITH PHYNIX... as for the reason I don't even know... to tell you the truth I'd much rather stay at home rofl I'm bringing thel PS3 over and if I ever find myself doing nothing I'll definitely be playing BlazBlue because there is only two things I've really done the past two weeks... watch anime and play BlazBlue.

One last comment... Y HARUHI? WWWWHHHHHhhhHHhHHHYYYYY!?!?!?! KyoAni should skip season 2 and make a Little Busters! anime... I'd like to see that

*Episode 3 of Spice and Wolf season 2 was batsh*t insane! BROOKLYN RAGE!!! (I dunno where I got this saying from xD) and they even had to top it off with the preview of the next episode having a pic of Horo almost kissing Amati... WTF? I feel like I'm watching a Korean Drama... except that the main girl or guy doesn't die in the end :o But then again the story hasn't concluded yet so it could still turn out to be a Korean Drama

So I finally came back on GS and bullet is inactive? The world is ending...

yeah I dunno, I just kinda became inactive too... I'll keep this short >.>

I actually usually become really active here on GS over summer but it didn't happen this summer apparently. I got sucked into the World of Warcraft black hole just at the end of school so I actually didn't do anything but play WoW over summer so far. It was better than I thought but I don't see why it's this popular. My subscription ends tomorrow and I don't feel like renewing it right now because I'm saving my money up on fixing my drums (that's right I finally got drums) and on getting a fighting joystick for the PS3. Yep, the reason as to why I'm getting one is because I got hooked on BlazBlue. I was wondering why it got good reviews and I had the extra cash so I got it. Another reason as to why I got it was because my brother lives with us now and his favorite gaming genre are fighters (and his favorite game franchise is Street Fighter) so I thought he'd enjoy it. In the end he asked me why I didn't get Street Fighter IV instead :? I personally think BlazBlue is the best 2D fighter and Fate/unlimited codes is the best 3D fighter (also got this awesome game through the PSP even though I actually own the PS2 version but can't play it due to it being imported and I dont have a way to play it for now).

So in between that last blog and here not much has happened in life... all I'd say was I got some $1,000 Tama drums (and got better at drumming), a 25 as my ACT score (amazingly higher than anyone in my class) and got addicted to WoW because a lot of my friends are playing that now... then I came upon BlazBlue and my cousin got it too (not Peng/bullet, didn't know he had it till just right now) because we planned on being a team online cuz of the awesome 6 player lobby feature in that game...

Well that's it for now, I actually wonder who'd read this? lmao peace out guys, and it may be for a while now.

A couple of new things to talk about including the making of a band?! *+NEW HDTV

*holy cowbell this blog is longer than I thought it'd be after finishing typing it up... good luck reading it and have fun :P but it still doesn't beat a LONG blog from bullet :o

Yeah that's right... me and three friends are making a band. We've codenamed it BRAJ Band, pronounced like barrage, but we're still in the early stages. Funny how it kind sounds like... Garage Band... just thought of that now for some reason. The reason why it is BRAJ is because... well our names are Bee, Randy, Andrew (me) and Justin. Take the first letter of our names and there you go... I came up with the name BTW  and it stuck. So for now we're using it as a "code name" because we still really haven't fully decided. As for who has which part here it is... Bee has Bass/Piano (he is one of the best piano players I know of but right now he's learning bass for our band), Randy has Rythym and Bass if Bee is playing the piano (he actually knows how to play these), I have the drums and Justin has the Lead Guitar/Vocals. Justin and Randy are brothers... and they know a lot about guitars. As for me... all I've been doing is studying up on drums like crazy and I've learned A LOT.

I'm also trying to decide on which drum set to get right now and I should be getting one in the next few months because we are going to start practicing together as soon as I get it. Though before I get it I have to clean out my basement as we've decided that's the main hang out/practice place. And yeah... my basement is REALLY packed with junk, once the snow is gone from the icy cold Minnesota we're gonna rent a dumpster thing and get rid of the junk in the basement... then we're turning it into an entertainment place/our band's hangout. By entertainment place I mean my mom is getting an HDTV, probably 46"-52" and the whole shabang (you know, surround sound, couches, etc.). Oh yeah, back to drums, I'm exclusively getting Japanese drums because damn right I'm biased so which drum company would you go with? Tama or Pearl? You can base it on randomness, on the names or if you actually know anything about them. I DO know that the drummer for ENOZ in Haruhi Suzumiya uses a Pearl BUT the AWESOME drummer here uses a Tama... and the little drum solo/pause thing he added around 3:35 is flippin awesome. Also I'm going to get the SAME drum cymbals that guy in the video is using which if you don't know what cymbals are... they are those gold/brown plate things at the top of the drum. Well actually I'm going to run the same setup except for one of those cymbals which I won't go into detail because you guys might just get lost.

Well as for practice and why I'm playing drums? I first tried and saw drumming up close and personal at my brother's church and all the people at his church... are musically talented... they all can play guitar (lead, rythym, bass, you name it) AND drums O_O But yeah that's what first got me interested... plus the fact that I don't really know anyone outside of that church that played drums well so I wanted to get good at it for the sake of uniqueness.. because apparently I do know a lot of people who play the guitar. It seems like the majority of the people play guitar... Now for how I practice without having a drum set right now other than the first time I tried it? Well I have to improvise so I'm playing Rock Band 2 like crazy trying to master the drums. It may not exactly be like the real drums (which they aren't, just thought I'd say that) but they do help with rythym and getting used to stepping on the bass pedal (although real bass pedals are easier to step on and more responsive). As for my skill level in Rock Band... I've gotten a whole lot better than what bullet has seen. I can now play on hard and expert easily, for some songs I find expert easier because the notes come down faster and there are more of them. I know you can increase speed for the other difficulties by enabling breakneck speed but... then it just becomes TOO fast >.> Yeah I got a whole lot better playing in the drums for Rock Band 2 partially due to me actually buying a drum throne (drum seat, got it at a circuit city close-down sale too) and the other reason is because I changed the way I stepped on the bass pedal... THAT helped a lot because now it'll take an hour or two even on hard songs to tire my leg out from stepping on the bass pedal compared to before where my leg would get tired after just a couple of hard songs.

As for what songs we are doing? We are going to do a cover for God knows... yeah even I know that's crazy but that's one of everyone's favorite song in this band. Yes, they all are anime freaks and they all know bout Haruhi... and Aya Hirano. Especially Justin (lead guitarist and singer), he's a fan of Aya like me although we're both starting to... well it isn't like we don't like her anymore but we just don't really... care about her anymore o_O Okay I made it sound like something in a bad way but I can't think of the words right now. We're doing covers first to get a feel for the band and to see if we've got potential. Also the reason why we've basically started this was to eventually play in a school's yearly Variety Show, it was too late to sign up for this year's Variety Show and we haven't even gotten together to practice yet... well mostly due to me not having my drums yet and we're waiting for me to clean out my basement. But Justin already knows how to play the guitar solo (although he hasn't mastered it and can still improve) and the rest is pretty easy, Bee just has to learn Bass as he's never played guitar much before but he has an entire year to accomplish that so no worries from me. Randy is good with guitars too like his brother Justin so I'm not worrying about him and his part as Rythym. Also the drums IMO in God knows... are pretty simple. I can play it on DTXmania with just the Rock Band drums although you have to keep in mind I turned on some of the drums to auto because the drums for Rock Band only has four drums and a bass pedal... and well you should know a standard drum set has more than 4 pieces. Oh and on a side note Randy is an anti-mecha anime fan... he loves anime but has a thing against mecha anime. Mecha anime btw are in short terms anime with giant robots if you didn't know... I'm assuming that you guys knew already but by that off chance... you know... Well anyways he hates them but I got him ADDICTED to Gundam 00... he watched 43 episodes in 2 school nights. I found it surprising and I'll now forever use that as an example to how good Gundam 00 is ;) I dunno if I've said this already, pretty sure I did say it but I'll just repeat, but depending on the ending of Gundam 00 it could go down in my top 10 or even top 5 anime of all time list.

Now other than God knows... we plan on doing ANOTHER cover for the Variety Show because in our Variety Show we can do up to 2 things. We haven't really decided on it but because Justin has really fallen in love with Tommy heavenly6/The Brilliant Green we've narrowed it down to two of our favorite songs from her. Which is Ash Like Snow (second OP for Gundam 00 baby! and I know I just talked about how I freakin love this song in the previous blog :P) and the second choice obviously by her (duh!) is Papermoon. We are still open for comments and suggestions as we still could choose a different song but FOR SURE we're doing God knows... Also if you have questions on the singing... we are planning to keep it Japanese although if by some miracle we get some amazing lyrics for these songs in english and they sound great we MIGHT use it just for the fact that 99% of our school doesn't know Japanese. That 1% are a couple of teachers that either have lived in Japan for most of their life (although they are all caucasian) or have been there long enough to understand the language and well... friggen get a Japanese wife  But still if we do it in Japanese we easily have a plan for that, set up the projector on stage (or possibly off stage) that will project the lyrics translated. This is debatable cuz that might distract the audience from us... so we'll probaby do a survey around our school soon asking whether or not they prefer the lyrics or not. Also I'm telling everybody to come and watch while also bringing something to record it because I'm going to watch all te different ones and use the best video to post up to show to you guys in the future. Oh and BTW it is obvious that future means in ONE YEAR. Or more like a year and one month.

So now we get off of that lengthy subject of our band... onto gaming news I really haven't done much. Maybe some Pokemon or Moemon. Okay you can probably find other better videos of this but it was the first thing that came up when I searched for it. For some reason I find it entertaining... and now I want to play the new Pokemon on the DS! Darn it... even my haxored PSP can only play DS at horrible frame rates and I don't even want to imagine using the analog stick as the cursor/stick pointer thingy-majig. Oh BTW Moemon IS in english, just for some reason the majority of the videos are in Japanese. Okay I know the reason why but I just won't explain it cuz it is obvious or just something... minor. As for other gaming I've done I've recently gotten COD5 and am playing it pretty crazily cept for the past week or two since I have school... AFTER school from 3:30 PM to 8. The reason why I got it is because now I have a lot of friends who have PS3s and most of them have COD5 so it was a simple way to get a game and play together with. And two of my friends who play COD5 are pretty good... at least IMO they are. They get the highest score per round 9 times out of 10 and they have a good kill ratio, above 2:1. Well I just started and they've been playing it A LOT and they also have COD4 which they play A LOT. You get the point... For FUTURE games coming out... like Killzone 2, RE5, etc. I might end up renting them to play them because I'm simply saving up my money to get a drumset. I DO have $247 right now in cash but I'm using some of that to buy a PSP for my friend because I said I'd get him one if we basically... share the PSP  He gave me like half of the money to buy one which is $60 and if you are confused I'm getting them at Circuit City tomorrow where it is brand new for like... $100-120.

Now if you didn't know already Circuit City is closing down and like Bullet I feel bad... and I thought bullet would point this out but come on they use RED! Best Buy is BLUE! A few years ago I thought there wasn't much of a difference in the stores but Circuit City never caught on and soon Best Buy easily became better. Nowadays the revamped Best Buys TOTALLY beats Circuit City because now Best Buy has more things to choose from and some amazing musical instrument section. But yeah, I got some things from there last weekend such as a new PS3 controller which by the way is amazingly my FIRST Dualshock 3, that's right I have 2 original Sixaxis without rumble controllers. That brings my collection up to 3 controllers, and since I'm going again tomorrow I might get another controller to get to that magical 4. Also the Circuit City by my house, which is different from bullets, had an entire WALL of Dualshock 3s... no kidding. I'll take a picture of it with my phone if I have the chance and it remains that way... okay that's a maybe since I may look too wierd doing that. But other things I got include a drum throne (mentioned above), blank DVDs (to finally burn a better version of Linux on my PS3! and for other reasons). blank CDs (because apparently my family still uses them to listen to things) and some PS3 related accessories such as a LONG USB cable to charge the controller which can also connect to the PSP (it's Mini-USB to USB so anything that uses that works) and I got a nice USB hub. I was about to get a 250gb hard drive for my PS3 but decided not to because I needed to save money. I might ask my mom to get it for me when we go tomorrow though ROFL. I mean after all she is the one buying me most of my stuff to tell you the truth... like the drum set, I'm only saving up to supe it up, she's actually buying it. I'm just getting the cymbals, drum sticks, etc. which still is pretty expensive since cymbals can cost as much as a flippin drum set. Oh yeah and I haven't installed Linux on my PS3 yet due to... busy-ness and uh... lazyness. Was planning to do it during this 3 day weekend though.

Finally on to things about anime... well I can't say much except I'm only watching a few this season. Gundam 00, new season of Hajime no Ippo, To Aru Majutsu no Index and something I can't think of right now but I think it's important... I'm on and off for Kurokami and I've started to read the Kurohime manga because Randy told me to. Otherwise... yep that's pretty much it. Kinda dropped White Album and some other anime I started watching, got boring. Got recommended an anime called Chrome Shelled Regios and it was wierd o_O Maybe, maybe not, I don't know if I'll continue watching that. Also got in to a new visual novel/game thingy called The Spirit of Eternity Sword 2. Using guides to help me get through this game since it is all in Japanese but I'm also using a broken english/engrishy thing to translate it  So it's enjoyable. Oh BTW it has a battle system which is one reason I got it. What got me initially interested was a picture of the red haired girl which I thought was REALLY cool (her in her Valkyrie looking battle armor and stuff) and THIS picture... ok that was a video but I was too lazy to upload the pic and I couldn't find the picture of it anymore -_- so go to 2:37 in the video and you'll know what I mean. It's my current desktop wallpaper.

So I guess that's it for now, don't want to make this blog too lengthy, oh and before I go I just had to post this...

:D

I swore it was faster in a previous test but I haven't done it in a long time so I don't really remember which is why I did it again. Some factors that may come into play for it being a little slower than what I though I'd get would be that I'm using wireless (probably not the problem if the test is using the modem directly? or maybe it is from the laptop, I dunno) and I have Comodo Firewall on which DOES slow down the internet a bit. Well at least for things like youtube videos sometimes... only SOMETIMES and that's where the first few seconds are laggy and I can tell it's Comodo because I turned some type of active gaurd thing on and it has a streaming symbol on top of the tray icon whenever I load up a new page... when I turn it off everything is fast but the protection Comodo Firewall has is GREAT and the lag isn't that bad... I got used to it and my internet is already fast enough. Though I think it is somewhat sometimes too fast although I'm not saying that's a bad thing because at most places I can't even get up to multiple megabytes per second downloads except for places that probably have uber fast servers like... for example when I download a Sony PS3 firmware update that is around 100mb I can get 2-3 mb/s downloads. I remember when Stage6 still existed and I got the highest download speeds from there at an amazing 8 mb/s... that is the highest I've ever seen in real life. I haven't even looked up at what the fastest internet download speed is for the masses but yeah... that's pretty fast. Also switched my bittorrent client from Azureus/Vuze to uTorrent. Vuze got too complicated and uTorrent is... amazingly a lot faster than Azureus ever was, even when Azureus was... Azureus and not Vuze.

*WE GOT A NEW HDTV TODAY AT CIRCUIT CITY  I uploaded pics on my images page dor Gamespot. Also got a NEW PSP, don't ask why :P

Just some new stuff added to the collection... (Link to Pics)

 I wrapped my new headphones around Gundam 00.

Also... yep that's right I ended up getting Fate/unlimited codes in the end although as of now I don't have the PS2 yet :? I'm going to order that soon though. I ended up getting it because I found it for cheap at NCSX and it just arrived today. I haven't really played around with it but I plan to find a cool stance for Saber sometime soon. Otherwise all I did was copy a stance I saw on the box of the game ;)

Saber on drums! (meh, was too lazy to actually make her look like she was playing drums, also LOL there's a lot of dust on those drums, haven't touched it in an eternity...)

A new Gundam appears! Gundam Kyrios also from Gundam 00! Yeah I know that's a cheap version xD

Also don't forget you can view the original picture in all of its glory since I took them pics with my mom's $1000 camera O_O

If we're talking about gaming then I'm afraid I haven't done much lately. I would LOVE to play my copy of Fate/unlimited codes but right now money is tight and some figurines are priority for now. But when the time comes of when I can't stand staring at the game anymore I'll definitely get one cuz now that I think about it WHY AM I PRIORITIZING ANIME FIGURES OVER GAMES! Well I minus well link to some of the figurines on my WANT list... hopefully none of them decide to become rare anytime soon.

Ryougi Shiki

Either one of these Ignis (1 OR 2) since all of her other ones are too hard to find/too expensive.

Index (This one is a maybe, if you couldn't tell I'm aiming for girls with weapons right now  )

Emi Kizaki

And if it isn't too costly ANOTHER Lily Saber. I'm looking for a good Alter Saber (Dark Saber) but the only one I like is a limited edition one and its obviously expensive and hard to find now. Also will probably get a cheap Figma regular Saber sometime down the road to accompany the Figma Lily Saber I have right now.

Well there are more that I want but that's a good short list for now. I'm off to watch anime now... currently watching Gundam 00, Kurokami, Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger, To Aru Majutsu no Index, White Album and a few more. As of right now I'm going to be watching White Album, what got me interested is that Nana Mizuki does the OP song (she's one of my favorite Seiyuu/Singers) and Aya Hirano does the main girl's voice. Well it was origanlly Nana Mizuki that got me interested but Aya Hirano is a good bonus too:shock: It's apparently romance, based off a visual novel, main girl is an idol, main character already has a girlfriend which IS that idol, etc. Yeah I dunno if it's going to be good but I'll give it a shot since I'm not watching many of the other new shows.

Oh yeah and before I leave... I have to say Gundam 00 might just make it up to my top 10 anime of all time list depending on the ending... the character development is something along the lines of unseen compared to other Gundams and the main Gundam has two FLIPPIN HUGE swords as its main weapon xD I love swords... and I love Gundam 00. It's almost as great as Code Geass, if they had someone as badass as Lelouch in it Gundam 00 WOULD be Code Geass :P cept with arguably better mecha fights although the final battle in Code Geass between Lancelot Albion and Guren Seiten would go down in my books as one of the most epic/awesome mecha fights ever. Oh yeah plus I think the overall music in Gundam 00 is better than Code Geass which I am including the OP and ED songs. Code Geass loses some points in that category because in season 1 they used some recycling... like Gundam SEED/Destiny style and season 1 OP 2 was horrid! :( At least Sunrise learns from their mistakes and actually does something BETTER like having the first ED start with something and then connecting the second ED to end whatever they showed in the first ED song. I have no idea whether that made sense or not... but w/e let's just say Ash Like Snow by The Brilliant Green PWNS all. Yes, it even pwns God knows... IMO. Although the guitar solo is the only thing I like in God knows... more than Ash Like Snow. And after multiple hearings of the new OP I'm liking it more and more now.

Err sorry bout the Gundam babbling, just had to say something since I haven't said something in a while. Ok now for sure I'm off... gotta get some anime watchin' done before I sleep and go to school tomorrow and take some MOAR final exams:|

*ZOMG Nana Mizuki voices the second main girl character in White Album... only realized that when I heard the voice and ended up researching it by going to myanimelist info  Anyways this show is kinda odd... the character Aya Hirano voices is kinda... odd. As for the other girl I actually hope somehow the main character goes with her in the end assuming I ever get to the end. This series looks like a potential drop BUT the only thing keeping me in it is amazingly the dream duo Seiyuu in this anime for me, Nana Mizuki and Aya Hirano. I still can't get over the fact that they are both in here voicing the two main girl characters! Anyways I minus well post up the OP and then if you want HD. IMO the song is nice, I prefer rock Nana Mizuki but I still like this song a lot... the pictures/animation or LACK THEREOF of the OP makes it boring but otherwise the main reason I put it up is cuz like mentioned above Nana Mizuki sings it ;)

My laptop broke... and I got a new one *NOW with a pic!

Yeah so much for cheap laptops off of ebay... it was pretty darn good for being $460 and used a year and a half ago. Well its the second time it has broken and without a warranty I have to pay to fix it. I didn't want to fix it so I asked my mom to get me a laptop... I wasn't expecting one so soon but earlier today (Saturday since I'm blogging at 2 AM in the morning of Sunday) we went to Best Buy and I ended up getting an $800 laptop. It's an AMD/ATI by Gateway, got it because I liked the color scheme and it had the best video card for the cheapest cost. The next best thing was at $1000 and I didn't really care for it. Anyways the odd thing is that I don't even plan on using this for gaming... the selling point for me was the looks

So I've practically spent all day getting used to Vista... that's right... it's my first laptop/computer that has Windows Vista on it. I have to say the appearance is definitely an upgrade to XP and the extra bells and whistles it has over XP are cool. So far so good in other words... pretty similar to XP just that I'm not used to where everything is. Also got the 64-bit edition and I didn't even realize that until I was installing things and it told me I needed the 64-bit edition of what I was trying to install :o

I'll get pics of this latop up tomorrow or something and in the meantime I've cancelled my order on the PS2/imported Fate unlimited codes game because... they were outta stock! I'm quite dissapointed in this and I could always get it from somewhere else but it costs way more at the other places and I've kind of lost the mood to get it now... Oh well, I get my $300 back. I also found a $50 bill I lost a few weeks ago in my sister's car today... I was so happy :P And now that my other laptop is of little use I put part of it to actual use. I swapped out my PS3's hard drive with the laptop and now my PS3 has a whopping 250gb hard drive! Now my friends who have 80gb PS3s can't say anything about me having the 60gb... my only comeback was that it could play PS1/PS2 games better than theirs. I also know a lot of people in real life who have PS3s now compared to when I first got it... actually I know more people who have the PS3 than 360... but I also know more people who either have neither of them or a Wii :? And by the way I'm talking about mostly the Hmong people since that's who I know the most of. Otherwise most white people I know have 360s... I'm not even sure what black people have but I think they have 360s... for sure they got PSPs  I see everyone at my school with PSPs and they use it mostly for music.

Speaking of school I took an Accuplacer test that tells me if I'm college ready. The teachers told us since we were Juniors they didn't expect us to score in the "college classes" category but somewhere in the "college prep classes" category. I already knew it but in the end i scored almost maximum in reading and writing and barely missed the college math readiness. To tell you the truth I forgot how to do some of the things they tested us on because I learned it a few years ago which is why I did worse in math compared to the other two. This test was online so we got our results the moment we finish. Being the curious students we are people shared their scores and I scored the highest... only two people got better than me in math though >.> On a side note in math class we take quizzes/tests on electronic responders. It's like a remote control and it has numbers and letters on it. Well basically we put our answer in the responder and send it to the computer... I thought it was pretty unique because I've never done something like that for math quizzes

As for college I plan on going to the University of Minnesota Duluth. I plan on majoring in Computer Engineering and hopefully I enjoy pretty much everything in the career and at college. I'm currently taking a college history class right now as a Junior and I have the highest grade in the class at a C+ :P Because it is an official college class it actually gives a college credit and I'll have one less class to take in college. Next semester I'm taking an english college class and for my senior year I'll be taking two college classes a semester. One class outside of my school and one class inside. This way... by the time I graduate I've already completed pretty much a year of college for FREE. Yeah... being asian my mom expects me to somehow ace these classes... she's not happy that I have a freakin C+ in my class even though I explain to her how it is a college class and that I have the highest grade -_-

So now that I got a ton of extra money (almost $500, $488 to be exact and that's excluding a Best Buy gift card that I realized we didn't use for the laptop just now) with my order getting cancelled... I'm thinking of getting either a Wii or 360 now that I definitely won't be getting a computer until I'm in college. So... which one should I get? Both of my sisters have a Wii but none of them have it at the house here I live:roll: so I'm pretty tempted in getting one. To tell you the truth I want a Wii right now more than a 360 because a lot of the games are multiplat for 360 and PS3 and the 360 exclusives aren't interesting me much at all right now. I've already had a 360 before although it was only for a month and it was an Elite version. Oh and I should somehow mention a big factor into me wanting a Wii is because the next Monster Hunter game is coming out for it. And I love Monster Hunter... I've logged 500 hours in the PSP version. Plus some good friends of mine who also play Monster Hunter on the PSP with me (and they've played more than I have) are thinking of getting the Wii just for this game with me... even though it has bad reviews here on Gamespot and at other sites like IGN, etc... that game is probably THE most popular game in Japan. Capcom could just stick the label Monster Hunter into one of their games and not even have it relate to Monster Hunter but yet it'll still sell millions in its first day in Japan. I'm not even kidding :|

As for a reason for me wanting a 360... I've said this to people and I'll say it again... I'd probably get a 360 if they ever come out with a new better version of it. Like something better than an Elite... maybe something like a new color scheme and a bigger hard drive and it came with some stuff... maybe games or accessories but as of right now I'm not feeling it for the 360. I admit there are some games I want to play on the 360 that are only for the 360 but there really isn't anything in the future that I want.

So yeah Wii or 360? Unless somehow I get persuaded to get a Japanese PS2 once again :P just joking...

On a side note I just found out after blogging that the laptop hard drive was ATA and I need SATA for it to work on the PS3 so I'm going to need an adapter. Now on to the pic...

I like to keep the stickers on... if you want a full size picture jusk ask... also got more pics of different angles and with the laptop closed.

A WHOLE New Year...

And 2008 went by fast... too fast...

Well... didn't post this blog earlier because I was too busy finishing the last route in Fate/stay night. I was reading it non-stop for three days and finally got through Heavens Feel :D It had the best story IMO even though some people dislike it and can give that route the nickname... Fate/stay in the kitchen  UBW route is still more epic and has the better fights but I like the story in Heavens Feel. I haven't played the Fate route because I find myself bored thanks to knowing what's going to happen due to watching the anime before reading the visual novel.

And well... because I was around youtube watching Fate/stay night related things I bumped into Fate/unlimited codes. Low and behold it is for the PS2 and it JUST came out two weeks ago. I thought this game came out a LONG time ago... but that was in the arcades. And feeling the need for MOAR Fate/stay night related things... I got the game  I got the Fate/unlimited codes SP Box Edition. And since it needed a Japanese PS2 to play it... I got a Japanese PS2 :D And yep, it's red bulletsword ;) I had to get a new PS2 because I gave my original Phat PS2 to my sister's boyfriend in exchange for him buying me some Naruto cards online

That right there came to $330 with shipping and handling AND an extra red PS2 controller... and that's also all my money :o I expect it by the end of next week and I can't wait for it. With this, it starts my Japanese PS2 import collection AND anime figure collection. To tell you the truth I might get myself another figurine before I get a PS2 game from Japan :P

Anyone has a Japanese PS2 game collection and would like to recommend some games? There isn't much that I've looked at so far but it doesn't hurt to ask.

So my new year started with a bang... I think. Happy New Year and hopefully 2009 is indeed a good year.

Gran Torino

Trailer

Anyone seen this? I probably will in the near future... heck I can just watch it now because I know its floating somewhere around there on the internet. Saw "something" in My Feed on Gamespot which reminded me of the movie. Anyways this movie actually stars *gasp* Hmong people  Yeah, those asian people in the movie is what bulletsword and I are. We are a small group of South East Asianers but we exist. And this probably has to be the biggest movie in American entertainment ever that Hmong people have ever been apart of. The only thing other than Hmong people being in it is that it's Clint Eastwood. My dad loves his old movies and I remember seeing quite a few of them.

Also, a funny story is that my mom regrets not trying out for this movie. All of her friends tried out and didn't make it and they didn't tell my mom because they knew she'd probably get the job instead of them:| I don't know if my mom would have gotten a job in the movie but I can assure you she has great intellect although sometimes stubborn:roll: In other words I think she did have a lot of a better chance of making the movie compared to her friends. Well... she IS the person making most of the family's income at $60-$80 an hour... and I didn't realize that making that much an hour is quite a lot compared to the average person or minimum wage until... a few years ago when I learned how much other people made at their jobs.

Well now that Christmas is over... here comes New Years! As for what I got in the gift exchanging? Well... just some books and a red notebook that has EPIC embedded into it. Also got a $60 gift card to Best Buy so I might use that to get a new game. I'd say I was pretty happy with everything considering I already have bought so much. Also my mom hasn't really gotten me anything and I just told her to buy me an expensive computer *coughcough* later down the road.

Well it may not be Christmas yet but Happy Holidays!

Just thought I'd quickly say that to you guys since I've been in the shadows for quite a while. Nothing much has happened except that I've probably spent the most money in my life this month. I got Rock Band 2 w/ everything which is $190, Guitar Hero 3 w/ the guitar for $50, a $200 Yamaha keyboard, $180 Shure headphones and other miscellaneous stuff like books, cards, clothes, etc. Now you may be wondering why I got Guitar Hero 3 AND Rock Band 2... well because Guitar Hero 3 was on sale, I wanted to play TTFAF (Through the Fire and Flames), I wanted the second guitar for Rock Band 2 and I wanted to get the Muse track pack and play it. If you don't know Muse its a band and they had some DLC on GH3. They also have one song on GH:WT and one song on Rock Band 2 but some of their best songs are on GH3.

Well, my oldest sister got a Wii. My other sister already has a Wii but it is at her boyfriend's apartment where she practically is all the time. My oldest sister lives in her own apartment with two other room mates who pitched in and bought three more controllers. They also got Rock Band 2 and Mario Party 8. I find it funny how we both have Rock Band 2. At least one of us should have gotten GH: World Tour that way there is some diversity.

There's a lot more I could talk about but I don't feel like typing anymore :P I've been watching a lot of anime and my favorite this year is pretty similar to Vexxy's list. Maybe add in ef ~a tale of melodies~ and Code Geass R2 somewhere in there and it's perfect. Can't wait for next year, new season of Hajime no Ippo and Full Metal Alchemist!

Once again have a safe and fun holiday with your family and friends

It Has Been, um, Quite a While

So when was the last time I posted a blog or commented on a blog or touch GS... well actually I think I went on this site a week ago just to see what games were coming out only to end up switching over to look at IGN's list. Anyways back to the other thing, I haven't been on here for 3 weeks... because of the "annual pattern" which is my becoming a ghost on GS when school starts. It has been a busy school year, it has been indeed...

And so how is everyone? I'm doing good so far... I hate my math teacher but otherwise I'm lovin school. I've pretty much gotten into doing flips and tricks (kind of like... uh break-dancing except not that articulate :P). I'm also trying to get into music... art can wait since I haven't practiced drawing anime style since last year's school year.

Now... as for new things I got Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for free (well... basically I traded in a few of my PS3 games and Gamestop had a deal going on) and I got Armored Core for answer. I never liked any of the Armored Core games but this one is way different from the other ones. It is more fast paced and if you know me I love giant robots... err that is mechas... and I mean cool mechas. Armored Core for answer will be the mecha game I will chew on until it rots... because damn right I'm still waiting for Zone of the Enders 3 :?

And after I bought those two games... there are still a ton of games I want coming out in the next two weeks :o Okay... first, Eternal Sonata comes out tomorrow for the PS3, next week Little Big Planet makes its debut, then the week after that comes Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm (which I am going to get the Limited Edition of), Valkyrie Chronicles and Resistance 2!!! Luckily... I have over $130 which is good enough for two of those games... I'm going to have to rely on my parents to get me the rest of the games I want  Thankfully... my mom is really generous right now since she's won a couple jackpots at the casino these past few weeks...

And umm yeah, the reason I got Armored Core for answer in the first place is because my friend let me play it on his PS3 and told me to get it so we can play online co-op. I wouldn't have gotten it if it had offline co-op but it ONLY had online co-op so I kind of had to >.> At least I enjoy it and we freaking pwn as a team since he gets the air with missiles. shotguns and rifles while I take the land with dual blades :D And yeah, you might not have understood that...but umm we've scored an S on every single mission on normal and hard together ;)

Well, uh wish me luck on getting all those new games somehow  I'll post a pic of all the new games I get once I get all (or most) of them.

Now for another random video... seen it anyone?

Code Geass HAS ENDED!!! and I flippin cried manly tears T_T

I did cry for a few seconds... but it wasn't hard or anything... just a few tears in remembrance of Lelouch. I thought Suzaku was dead too...

Anyways this will easily be the best anime I've seen for the time being. The ending saved it IMO because from 20+ it seemed rushed and kind of... stupid. I wasn't expecting Lelouch to do what he did at the end... that was just flippin awesome. AND I don't think the person driving the cart was Lelouch... although it is possible... maybe CC gave her code to him? I dunno but maybe I don't want to know.

In other news I beat Star Wars: The Force Unleashed... it was good game and definitely will make me think about renting the PS3 version but otherwise I was still pretty much dissapointed in the game. As for other things? Nothing new... because I've been a hecka busy with my college class and my Junior year at school has been the hardest. I think we've been assigned more work than the beginning of my Sophomore and Freshmen year :? Oh well... I can't wait till Senior year, our high school is small so the Seniors get to go on a trip to pretty much anywhere in the country at the end of the year and the school funds it. You just gotta pay for your own food and stuff. Right now as a class we still don't know where we want to go. Any suggestions?

Well that's it for now, sorry (tried to think of a different word) that I haven't gotten around to everyone's blogs and such... this has been the busiest time in my life... especially since I am highly active after school and such. Peace guys ;)
