I'm in my second playthrough and I'm using a map that supposedly has all of the blast shards. I opened the map in Paint and marking each shard I pick up. I'm still short one shard!! and yes I did go to the top of the tallest building in the historic district. Does anyone have a map that includes all of the blast shards? Have any advice on where I need to still look?

get rid of them early....go on a site and get a picture of all the maps with the locations of them and afterwards just save and open through paint on ur com....and after u find everyone go to ur com and mark a lil x to show that u found it....make sure u do one island at a time...and also i think i know which one u didnt find....its super hard because it doesnt show up when u click R3 (or L3 i forget havent played the game in a while) unless u get super close to it...good luck my friend

I found 349/350 blast shards in my first play through. I spent hours looking for the last shard but gave up in frustration. I'm playing the "Bad" story and decided to find the shards again. Do you have any advice so I don't miss out on any? I decided to scour each island and find all before I move to the next. Is this a good strategy?

Is Rockhound one of them ? Cause I got a nice map with the location of the blast shards I used Gamespot map and it missed like 3 shards. Same with the IGN one.

I would buy a warranty through Best Buy. I think the highest warranty for the PS3 is only two years. I bought one for the 60GB. Got the YLOD and it ate Tiger 09. Best Buy replaced the game, gave me a 80Gb PS3, and the difference of $200. Well worth it...
