@TeslaCoi1: I absolutely agree with you. So often the problem with these Hollywood adaptations has been that the producers/writers/creative team has always tried to make these stories more relatable to a generic idea of what a western audience is looking for. The problem in using this approach to make it appeal to a wider audience --so that obvious commercial goals are achieved-- is that you dismiss the very unique nature of the characters and story, which is the very thing that drew manga and anime viewers to elevate these kinds of stories to a "classic" or even 'epic' status.

A whiny loser, high-schooler?! Please! By redefining one of the main characters like this shows utter disrespect to the subtle beauty of the character, his morals, and motivations. I suspect that you may very well be correct in that the writer is probably unaware or unappreciative of why the Death Note anime/manga is so great.

This story is the character development of several key players (Yagami Light, L, Ryuk, etc.) and by changing the characters to this extent, you impact and change the story itself. Any mature manga/anime viewer/reader would consider this kind of creative liberty to be sacrilegious as it destroys the very essence of the original.

Of course nothing is stopping them from doing this, but they should at least have the courtesy to give their iteration a different name so that fans of the original come with no expectations, and newcomers, who are none the wiser, may leave with opinions on this movie alone. By using the same title they are showing their true motive as being profit oriented --an attempt to capitalize on the achievements of the mange/anime. The sad thing is that if and when they deliver a sub-par product, they are indirectly putting off potential new viewers/readers from other great anime and manga stories that are out there.

TBH I will at one point in the future watch this movie, but only so that I can relate and clear the (many) misguided views and opinions that will occur from watching this iteration of a great story; a story (manga/anime version) that has what is arguably a great characterization and portrayal of an antagonist, his motivations, moralities and ethics, and how that leads him to undertake thought provoking and debatable actions on the deviants in society.

No Danny! Don't end it here! The Point is one of the best gaming shows. I'e been following the Lobby and the Point ever since it first started. Best of luck to Andy and he will be missed, but please find a way to keep the show alive.

@llamaboy226: It's really crazy cuz its not like I even abuse my controllers. I don't really put all that much force into it and prefer to lightly push the analog sticks along. I do play long hours at a time, but I've never had this issue with my PS2 or my PS3.

I would guess that it was around 50 hours when I first noticed that the sides of the left analog stick began to just wear away. And after another 100 hours the right analog stick began to wear away. It was really infuriating since it wasn't like I had done anything different nor had I really roughly used the controller.

The ever decaying "cheap plastic" on the analog sticks are my main issue. It's simply the worst! You can defend almost all other issues with the system, but the analog sticks on the DS4 is beyond embarrassing.

Okay I'm gonna ask a question like a noob, so put the knives away.

I need someone to clarify something for me. Is this game requiring me to have an internet connection every-time when I start the game, so that it can check whether I've bought the original game. Cuz I can easily live with that. Or is it that I'll need the net connection to be active and constant throughout the time that I play the game?

If the latter is the case, then this is stupid. Is this NFS game an online game? Why do I need to be connected to the net all the time? All these "features" about taking pictures and sharing them with my 'friends' just sounds like idiotic things that devs come up with to show that their game has a lot of things going on. There are far more better ways to utilize my home's bandwidth.

I can live with an Autolog system similar to the 2012 version of Most Wanted. If I remember correctly that allowed you to play the game without continually being logged on. Honestly speaking though, this thing kind of seems like a ploy to allow EA to bypass your privacy and allow them access to your system continuously for no reason.

God it's been ages since I've played CM (and yes I prefer to call it CM as opposed to Football Manager). Reading this review made me feel like I need to set aside the console for a while and go back to what made me love football even more!

I kind of wanted to know more about the environment and how big the city will be.

First game that I ever played was this mix between Battleships and hangman on my dad's Commodore 64 - forgot the name though. And if that doesn't count then definitely the baseball game on my elder sisters Atari 2600.
