anyways, in this blog  am gonna give out answers to your questions and a few more things.

Q: What's your most favorite Hollywood and Bollywood movie?

A: Well, actually i don't watch a lot of movies and no TV. So can't say that perfectly.But my favourite hollywood movies will be the Star Wars series. not any particular movie but i just love the whole series. and about bollywood umm may be Shootout Lokhandwala. can't really say :P

Q: Are you an anime fan?

A: no.. not an anime fan. but i used to like pokemon and beyblade. i also used to watch this DBZ, but i never liked it :P. currently i like to watch shin chan :D :lol:

Q: Why dont you collect emblems anymore?

A: collecting emblems... i don't know how to collect them. i never thought of collecting them. now i am thinking of doing that

A: wow a very very hard question. there are many, but there is one game that beats them all. don't know about you guys, but i used to love and will always love to play Super Mario Bros. wow i think thats the first game i have played in my life. so Super Mario Bros. :)

A: interesting question :D my favourite food is Chaat and to be more specific, the Pani Puri. its an indian dish don't know how to describe it. but yum i can eat that everyday :D. here's a pic for you -

A: actually its hard to remember. but the only game i remember playing for the first time is Super Mario Bros. or may be pacman on PC. still confused. but i am 95% sure that it was Super Mario Bros. and thats my all time favourite game :)

Q: What's the worst game you've ever played?

A: haha the worst game i have ever played is Power Rangers Dino Thunder on GBA. i still don't know why i bought it. total crap and waste of time. and money too :P i rate it 0.1/10 :P

Q: Do you have any bad habits?

A: bad habits hehe, i think everyone has them. i have a habit of biting my nails :P i think i have many other bad habits (or bad manners?) too long to list. so i say just nail biting :P

A: wow.... thats the hardest question i have ever faced. even the questions in my physics exams are easier than this one :P (j/k) umm to be honest, now i can't play only one game for the whole year. but actually i have played one and only one game that is Age of Empires the whole year! now if you ask, i will say the platform will be PC and game will be Guitar Hero 3 :D what about you?

i finally managed to get my hands on Crysis Warhead, two weeks back. almost completed it but my PC crashed. the motherboard has got some problems :( :cry: i think now no games for atleast 1 month as i don't have a spare motherboard and i am using my small eeePC :(

but i am enjoying playing my guitar :)

ii got some new stuff last month. a new electric guitar (a basic one) and an amplifier (this one basic too). the guitar is Ibanez GRG 170 DX and amplifier is Marshall MG15CDR.

pretty good guitar and amp. but the overdrive on amp sucks :P

also finally got warhead yesterday. haven't played it yet. playing crysis again and this time on highest difficulty. will play warhead after i beat that.

many games coming, and too less time and money coz i recently spent like 17k rupees on the guitar, amp and some accessories.

Hi guys,

I have been too busy for the last few weeks. My HSC and CET cl@sses have started and they are for 7+ hours everyday. Add some time for traveling to those 7 hours. This summer is probably the worst summer in my life. No time to play, visit GS, etc. Moreover to make thing worse, we have tests every Sunday and believe me, those tests are too hard for me.

Here's what I did in the last few weeks-

Games Update-

Got some new games and a demo.

1. Frontlines: Fuel of War
2. World in Conflict
3. Frets on Fire
4. Grid Demo

It's a surprisingly good game. Not the best, but really good and worth the price. The graphics are good and about the story, well I cannot say anything about the story because (you may find this weird) I don't watch the cut scenes. Haven't tried out the MP yet because of lack of time and some other reasons.

There are some problems that I faced with the game. Like, either its highly un optimized or I am the only one with the problem. I can run Crysis without any problems on med-high settings at an average 35 FPS. But this game, it runs at 20 FPS average even at medium settings and at resolution 1024x768. Anyone else faced this problem? Rest all fine about the game.

Overall, I am quite impressed the game. Everyone must try it and to make it better, its super cheap in India. Still the game is not comparable to Call of Duty 4.

Now what can I say about this game? Its an uber RTS. So good graphics, gameplay and real good story (I am watching all the cut scenes in this game). Moreover, it runs perfectly fine on my PC again on med-high settings. Again, I have not tried its MP because I never really understood it. I mean, we cannot play 1 vs 1 match in this game? Does it need to be co-op always? And no time to understand all that for now. No more words to say about this game as all know about it.

Anyone here tried this game? If not, let me tell you. It's a game like Guitar Hero 3. Made by fans I think. Some people like it and some people hate it. I don't know any reason to hate it. Main thing is, I like it and I am having fun with it. If you like such games, you should try it too.

The best part is, the game is free and you can download it from HERE. Just 34 MB. It comes with 3 songs. You can get more songs to it by making your own songs using the in built song editor or simply download some song packs. Awesome game, but try it at your own risk because you may get addicted to this game like I am.

Grid Demo-

Grid is all about good graphics, physics, everything that a racing game should have. The graphics and physics are unbelievably good. It's a simulator + arcade type racing game. The demo had 3 race modes, which I never cared to read and hence never understood. Two of them are races I think one race cl@ss and the other is muscle cl@ss. The third one is the drift cl@ss.

The game feels so real. Feels like we are driving a real car and the people watching us playing feel like watching a real race on TV. The best part of the game is, although it has so good graphics and physics, it is not at all heavy on the system. Runs on high settings on my PC. Well not maxed out, but high settings and solid FPS is pretty good for my PC.

Shopping-

This summer, I did a lot of shopping for myself. Bought 9 T-Shirts lol. Did some major PC upgrades too.

First of all, I got a new mouse long back (I think start of this month May). It's the Logitech MX-518 Gaming mouse. It has an awesome sensor of 1800 dpi and very good grip for me. And yeah, its huge. Compared to my normal mouse, its very big. On the first day, I was not able to control it. It was too fast for me. So fast that I was not able to click on the close buttons of the windows.

Second PC upgrade is a major one. Here is a picture of what I got-

Life Update-

As mentioned earlier, I am too busy with all my cl@sses and stuff. Still managed one day out. Although I have no interest in sports especially cricket, I went to watch the IPL match at Wankhede Stadium last Wednesday. The match was against Mumbai Indians and Mohali Super Kings XI. What an awesome match! Tension of losing till the last ball. Finally we lost the match but I enjoyed the experience. So many people cheering, and I had never ever seen a cricket match in stadium except Cartoon Network cricket 6 years back.

I am planning to go for the finals of IPL on 1st June at the D.Y.Patil stadium. Hope I get time and the ticket. Also almost forgot to tell you all that I am enjoying eating a lot of mangoes. So much mangoes that I am sure that I have put up some weight.

So that's all for now. I am a bit too busy for now and I think I will be free by 10th or 11th of June.

yesterday finally after 6 months or so, my internet problem is solved. now i get around 300 kbps :D

Hey guys, I finally managed to get through lvl 20. Took me almost 1.5 months. Now I hope all will go fast. :D

Also got a new PSU yesterday :D. Now no dual PSUs to my PC. And now i can keep my case closed and enjoy with one PSU :D

Got the Corsair VX 450W :D

Hi guys, yesterday was a nightmare for me. No internet for one full day! Ohh that was horrible. No IGG, nothing. Also no online gaming. Worst days are here for me. First of all, college started. Then 12th grade tutions also started. Had problems with Steam for over a week. After I fixed the Steam problem, I got another problem. That is no internet for one whole day! Now thats called a real bad time. Moreover, yesterday was sunday. The only day when I get enough time to play online with my friends neerajkumar_4, Reetesh and anshul89.

The Game

Now the game. Yesterday I finally got Call of Duty 4 finally. Normally, I don't decide whether to buy a game on reviews. I was not interested in this game much. But after reading my friend Gagan's review of this game in IGG I seriously felt like getting it. Got bored because of slow internet yesterday. So got this game finally.

My Impressions

It turned out to be an awesome game. The graphics are amazing. The best thing I liked is the AI. Awesome work on AI. It feels just like real soldiers and all not only look like real ones, but also act, run, shoot and give commands like real ones. Also the enemy AI is good. They are not too easy and not too tough. Just perfect difficulty on "Normal".

The gun sound is very good. But the dialogs are in very low volume. Is there any wey to increase it? I checked in the sound settings. But its not there. Played it just for about 2 hours now and I am seriously liking it. But I did not liked the gameplay much. Probably because I play Call of Duty 2 too much. I still like Call of Duty 2 gameplay more. One thing I felt weird about this game is, that when we fire bullets from any gun, there is either very less recoil or no. Is it only with me or all of you realised that thing?

Still I haven't tried the multiplayer of this game because of no internet yesterday. But till now I really enjoyed the Single Player. Main thing is that the guns are awesome.

Conclusion

Finally here comes my conclusion. If you like shoters, that too military and all that stuff, this game is a must buy. In my opinion, the single player is good too. I will probably post another blog after I try the multiplayer of this game.

And this is the trailer of the game which I am looking forward to. Yes, its GTA 4 :D

Hey guys, today I started playing Loco Roco. I must say that it is totally awesome and cute game. Though its a 2D game, the colours are great. The music is fun. And those blobs are very very cute. If you like platformers and that too fun and cute, you must get this game. Pretty old, but fun is never old. And this game is really addicting. Thats all I want to say about this game. Never really enjoyed any PSP game so much. The best 2D game after Mario in my opinion.

Now I feel why didn't I try this game before. :P Awesome and cute game with nice music.

Want to get Far Cry!

Hey guys, finally got Far Cry yesterday. I started PC gaming recently. So, I was unaware of Far Cry. I never knew that a game like this exists. Once, I read my friend gagan21's comments on Far Cry. Then i thought something must be special about this game. So, I started asking others about this game. And all had the first expression like,"WTF? You have not played Far Cry? Go get it as soon as possible!".

Then I read on Gamespot that Far Cry is now for free download. I was very happy thinking that I will not have to spend a single rupee on the game. Then I started downloading it. It was some more than 2 GB. And my internet speed totally sucks. Also, I came to know that there are a lot of ads in between the game. So i decided to buy it.

Enquired in all shops near my house. But I was not able to get it anywhere. Then I remembered seeing the game in a shop very far away from my house. It was a 45 minutes train journey. Went on the railway station and what I saw was a very long line waiting for tickets. And I had to get the game yesterday only. I was gonna wait and get the tickets. But my brother didn't want to stop at the station. Finally remembered a shop that I had missed. It is near my home. Just 10 minutes walk. We both rushed to the shop and got the game finally. That too for 50 INR less than other shops. :D

The Game

I was very excited to play the game. Quickly installed the game and started it. The first scene itself amazed me! The water and all. Then I set all the settings to max. Started the campaign. The first part was indoors. Nothing special about it. But I was realising that this game is different from the others. The textures looked very nice.

Then got outdoors. The moment I saw the outside world, i was filled with awe and my jaw dropped! As I said earlier that I started PC gaming recently, I had never seen such nice and beautiful world and graphics in any game! The trees and all just looked awesome! And especially the water. Great graphics. And the underwater world was also designed awesomely. The first game that amazed me was Halo. But it was nowhere near this game in terms of beautiful world and graphics.

The first mission was kinda hard for me. Just 2 bullets in the Pistol and had to run for life. The jeep driving was also kinda hard for me. But cleared it finally. This was the moment I realised that the game is gonna rock in the missions ahead. I kept on playing the game. But then realised that my brother was getting bored to death. So, had to shut it down. The game rocks till what I have played. Not too easy and not too tough. Just right difficulty. :)

The Problems

I have some problems in the game. First of all, I bought the original game and installed it. Even registered it. But the installation never asked me for the CD key. Now when I start the multiplayer, the game says "Invalid CD Key". Now what is this problem? Also, some times in game, the ground appears black. What may be the reason for this? Is there any patch to fix it? That thing bugs me off. Sometimes, even the frame rate drops like hell. But only in this game. All other games work fine. And all other things in this game work fine too. Just got these mentioned problems.

The Festival of Lights has come :D. My favourite festival. So, Happy Diwali all of you guys!

I love this festival because of two reasons-
1. I get many gifts :P:D
2. Very long holidays (of course less than the summer vacation)

So I am gonna eat a lot of sweets and no fire crackers this time. Not that I am scared of them or I don't like them. Just got bored of all that stuff. And i am gonna get a lot of gifts on Sunday :D. I hope that I get a lot of cash :P so that i can save enough money for buying new games.

And guess what, I already got myself a gift :D

EDIT: I forgot to mention the best part. Both the discs in the Orange Box worked on my PC :D. But both the discs are scratched a bit. :( The cheap quality plastic case is really bad. it scratched my OB discs :(. And the shop won't replace it. He said that I scrathed it :x WTH?
