And more to come...

Which car should I get?

Soon enough I will be leasing a new car, but I'm not sure which car I should choose. My dad works for GM so I have to get a GM car (gotta love the discounts!).

Here are my top choices:

  • Chevrolet Cobalt SS supercharged
  • Chevrolet Monte Carlo (base model)
  • Pontiac G6 coupe

If anyone has other ideas I'd like to here them.

I Drove My First Manual

It is much harder than it looks! Learned it in my Dad's Hummer H3 (yeah, that's right) and it took me a while to get the hang of it. Eventually, I was able to start the car and take off with very little bucking of the car. I practiced for about 20 minutes before I decided to go home and take a brake. I stalled it a few times but who wouldn't their first time. In the future I plan on buying a Chevrolet Cobalt SS and it only comes as a manual transmission so I've got some work to do. Once I get te hang of it I'm gonna rub it in my friends' faces. :D

Frank Miller's Sin City

I saw Sin City last night and I have to say that I have never seen a better movie. You heard me right. I have seen hundreds of movies (not an exaggeration) and this movie is definitely one of my favorites. I have never read the graphic novels but after seeing the movie I felt that I had been reading them my entire life. The visuals were stunning, the acting superb, everrything about this movie seemed to work seemlessly with all of its attributes that I felt deeply engrossed in a movie. I have never really had that feeling and let me tell you...it feels good. The movie is very violent and has some nudity so I do not recommend it to young kids or people that can't handle blood. Some have said that the movie is just senseless violence. I disagree. I felt that every drop of blood had meaning behind it and that it wasn't over the top. The cast of the movie was perfect. Every person fit their characterso well that Isaw them as citizens of Basin City and not as actors/actresses. Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez worked very well together in making this film. The only problem I have with this film is that I have to wait a few months before I can buy it. Damnit!

10/10

Got my PSP today!

I waited in line at my local Best Buy to pick one up. I was worried that the line would be too long so a got there about an hour and half before the store opened. Once I got there I couldn't believe my eyes! There were only 3 people in line! WTF? Once the store finally opened I got my PSP and 2 games (Lumines and Metal Gear Ac!d) and went on my merry way. I got in the car and immediately started to tinker with my new toy. The first thing you notice right when you take it out of the box is how big the screen is. At my first chance to play a game I put in MGA and played away. The graphics aren't as good as the PS2 but they are pretty damn close. I have never seen anything like it! The Sony PSP is the coolest handheld available and I can't stop playing it. The best thing about it is that it's a multimedia device; so you can watch movies, play games, listen to music, and look a digital pictures all on one small handheld. The PSP is $250 dollars and I think it is worth every penny.

Note: Channel 7 news was also at the Best Buy so I got to be on TV...sort of. I was in the background. It's all good.

Resident Evil 4 - Best Game EVER!

Yesterday I got Resident Evil 4 and I haven't been able to stop playing it since. It is such an amazing game that once I look at it I can't help but play it for hours on end. I'm not very far in it yet but at this rate I'll finish it in no time. I've never played any of the Resident Evil games before but if they are all as great as Resident Evil 4 then I've got some games to play. I'm not sure why I am still here typing this...if you need me I'll be playing Resident Evil 4.

I Beat Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Today I beat Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and it ws without a doubt the best game I have ever played. Soon I will have a review for it but for now I can only say that I have never felt so "into" a game and the bosses were extremely creative and fun play. I am hiaghly anticipating the release of MGS 4, if Hideo Kojima decides to make another that is.
