Well, Xmas is just 25 days away and I'm sure everyone is excited about getting together with family and friends, watching the 24 hour "A Christmas Story" marathon on TBS, decking the halls, and the games! This will be a great gift year for me. I'll be getting a PS3 (hopefully 80 gig but probably 40 or 60), a USB headset, and a game(probably LittleBigPlanet). I can't wait to get my PS3 and set it up in my room and start playing! And, like everyone else, I'm looking foreward to visiting my family that live ou of town(although I'll be at my house on Xmas day and wont see them until the day after) and spending time with loved ones. Ok, so after however long I was locked in my room playing Rock Band, I'm back! Rock Band is great but I had to come back and see what was going on. I'll bet you were all miserable without me but you can stop crying now because here I am! Well, The AGU has all of 7 members so I'd better get to work on improving it. See ya later;)

Sometime tomorrow, I'll probably go out and buy rock band and the track pack for my Wii.Anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with music games so I'll probably be locked in my room playing Rock Band for the next few days or weeks. The problem is that there's no computer in my room, it's in my basement. This means that I can't play Rock Band and be on Gamespot at the same time. Sorry guys but Rock Band wins:) I might come out every now and then to eat, but for the most part I'll be playing Rock Band. I know we just got The AGU started but I can't help out too much for a few days. Okay, so unless you've been in a coma since before E3, you've probably seen or heard something about Mirror's Edge. But for all you coma-be-iners, it's a modern action asventure game(think modern Prince of Persia) but here's the twist, it's all in first person! Now if you've seen my icon, read my sig, or have been paying attention when you were just reading my blog, you'll know that I'm incredibly excited about this game. It even inspired me to start a union that focuses entirely on action games. So, Mirror's Edge is awesme and you should definately look into it. Gamespot has a few good trailers, but you should probably check out the Live Wire demo on IGN or Gamespy. It shows some good gameplay and gives good info on controls and stuff. If you havent seen Mirror's Edge yet, you should really see what it's all about, and it's all about SUPERCRAZYAWESOMENESS!!!!!!!

Okay, so here's whats going on. If your reading my blog, your probably on my friends list. If your on my friends list, you probably got a message about the Action Gamers Union. I'm making a union but I need 4 friends to charter or It won't be started. So far, No one has excepted. I don't care if you just charter and never go anywhere near the union again. You can even quit later if you really want to. I just need 4 people to help me get this union started. You have seven days to accept so please hurry. Thanks for the support.;)

I hate it when people say they're gamers but they play nothing but shooters. I know a ton of poeple who call themselves gamers, but the farthest they've ever gotten from an fps is Gears of War. In my opinion a gamer is someone who plays most if not all genres of games. Or at least more than just FPS's. I like everything from RPG's to shooters, to platformers to fighters and everything in between.

I've noticed that most of these "shooters" are, to some extent, fanboys. They're constantly bashing every console they dont own. But I think They're more than just console fanboys, they're shooter fanboys. Whenever I bring up something like Soulcalibur IV, they say its dumb. But when Call of Duty 4 is mentiond it shifts to "Oh Yeah! Thats the best game ever!!!!" and that can become hours and hours about how good they are, and who they play with, etc.

So if you're going to call yourself a gamer, at least try to play outside of your comfort zone once or twice.
