Whoopie! Saints Row and Enchanted Arms are out! :D
Otherwise, I've lately got Super Monkey Ball: Touch and Go for the DS, and FUll Auto for a splended $30. Not much else really

Hello there! Blog Entry #1! Woopie!

Hello there bored and lost folks who've found their way to my far from finished profile!
Well, as a first entry, I seem to be edging towards collecting retro consoles. If I still had my Genesis I'd probably be playing away on that, but sadly I don't have it.......as you may have guessed.
I've recently bought an N64 with a handfull of games-
Zelda- OoC
Quake 2-(came with the package)
Perfect Dark
Golden Eye
Starfox 64, aka, Lylat Wars
GT64
I'll soon probably get Mario 64, a memory expansion, and any other classics recommended to me (wink wink).
I also recently purchased a DS Lite. It's a great system, and all I need are some more games (2 just isn't enough :( ). Those two games are-
Metroid Prime Hunters
New Super Mario Bros
I'm looking into-
Sonic Rush
Canvas Curse, aka, Power Paintbrush
Trauma Centre
Phoenix Dawn (is that it?)
Advance Wars
My only flaws with the Ds Lite would be the black chroming and the game costs.
In a nutshell, black chrome is cool, until you get finger prints all over it.
As for the games, they cost about £30 (or $45 for the yanks) and the cartridges are......well........smaller than you'd expect for such a large case. I think cartridge related deaths in babies have gone down 80% in the USA and Europe because babies can't choke on DS Cartridges.
To add to the little Nintendo spree of mine, I'm considering blagging a NES or SNES from Ebay. The typical offer is a console, 20 games, and a zapper for about £30, or $45. IS this worth it?
And one more little rant about professional reviews. We all remember Chromehounds getting a 4.4/10 don't we? Well, the avergae consumer review is above 8/10, and it turns out that the online mode is god damn revolutionary-something all you fancy pants "I KNOW MORE THAN YOU BECAUSE I'M ON A WEBSITE AND WEAR STAR WARS T-SHIRTS" 'professional' reviews forgot to look at. The same goes for N3 (recently given a 5.9/10 by Gamespot). Well, I loved the demo. Pretty much everyone else did as well. And thanks to gamecard tracking, looks like ol' Jeff hasn't even got through half the game before reviewing it. He even puts this bellow the ghastly Dynasty Warriors 5. And I don't agree with this 7/10 for graphics. Yet again, it's "Ooooooooh, it doesn't have fillyfloptriangularflangflang mapping and therefor sucks ass". Chances are, they didn't even notice the amount of detail in the characters.....

And I've just noticed how much GS sucks with screens and videos.
Check out any of the fottage on IGN, or Game Trailers, or any of the other forbiden websites for good N3 footage.
The moral? DON'T TRUST PROFESSIONAL REVIEWERS. I don't care if they're on a website. They don't know sh*t about real qualities in games, and only care about how famous the game series is.THEY GAVE QUAKE 4 AN 8/10 FOR F*CK'S SAKE!
