What MS should have done, since there is so much controversy on this topic. They should have announced the option to use batteries is still there, but provide a re-chargeable(and removable) battery pack for each controller. You now have the option for CHOICE, and people wont gripe about the possibility for money grabbing(or at least they wouldn't gripe AS MUCH). Im sure they wouldnt do that as that would inevitably drive the controller price up of course.
Having said that, this was a good move for them. Personally, my DS4 doesnt last longer then 3 hours on a single charge and i would much prefer the option to put in better batteries or a stronger battery pack. If for whatever reason the pack dies on it, i will have to buy a whole new controller which would be unfortunate. Regardless on likelihood of that happening, i would like to have the freedom of choice. Obviously for some this is not an issue. For those people, i dont understand why they would even comment on this thread....but they will.
I dunno, i think putting nades at 1 per slot is too low. I get that some could see grenade spamming as bad, but generally its more for crowd control then it is for kills. Also, Wattson can be good but not a "must-have".
I loved Fallen Order, i cant say its my GOTY or anything but the game itself is really pretty dang good. There really isnt any GOOD games out there that you get to play as a jedi and they really nailed it(besides Forced Unleashed of course). The force powers are on point and being able to switch from dual to single lightsaber is legit as hell.
