So with first sememester exams over here are my results:
Mathematics 2C: 76% (top mark)
English 3A: 68% (4th highest)
History 3A: 72% (2nd highest)
Integrated Science 3A: 81% (3rd highest)
Biology 3A: 62% (top mark)
Philosophy & Ethics 2A :78% (top mark)
and when placed into a TER/ATAR calculator the predicted score is 89-90
Points of interest
- did suprisingly well in english, last section where i ran out of time cost me, could have been 80%
- biology is really harsh marking
- rest not too bad, just issues with responses.
Overall im somewhat happy with the result as i strive for a TER of around 96, which means about a 3 mark increase to every assingment this semester. Sadly though, ill be getting a C in english and will need to convince parents its not my fault (considering it is a hard course, everyone in class is geting a C and only 2 years we have done proper English). Additionally a fear i have is that this was all one off, and i don't know how i pulled it off nor does it seem possible for me to get another 2 good runs this year, im hoping it happens again, but i best be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.
Considering the fact i not only dwindled gaming time to almost none and increased stufy time, its looking very grim that i will be able to ever put as many hours as i did to pull out platinum trophies like killzone 2 and littlebigplanet which took a lot of time and persistance to get through. Looking at my timetable for the next 4 months, gaming is still quite low on my list, and after exams are over, it sadly looks like ill be able to pick it up as much again, with the need for work being a primary objective, uni and more importantly spending time with my girlfriend. But i guess i cant ultimately say it will gather dust at this point in time, but the outlook for long sessions at end and platinum after platinum is still up in the air.
