I haven't been on this site for a while. It seems like the same old people are roaming around the forums. This place really hasn't changed all that much. It's so nostalgic to look back at all my previous blog entries. System Wars seems like it's still the same with the same lame moderators, same trolls, and complete dumbasses ie.. Charizard.

It's been a while since I took some pictures of my setup/downstaires area. I currently live downstaires at my parents house. I have a bedroom and my living room area. I'm 22 years old and going to college. Seeing how my college is only 15 minutes away, I chose to live at home. I know society looks down on those who live in their parents basement, but screw it. I'm saving money, I have a fantastic relationship with my mom and step-dad, so I think it is perfectly fine. I don't plan on living here the rest of my life, but I will until I get out of college and get a nice fanacial base to start my life on my own. Anyways, this is my setup until that day comes

Last night I saw my little Nubbers laying on our drive way, looking all whorish. (She wasn't even a year old before she got knocked up, so I joke about it). Anyways, I decided to let her hang out for a while and I would get her a little later. It was around midnight.

Well today I couldn't find her anywhere. I was starting to get worried and I finally found here laying down under a chair on our front porch. She was facing away from me so I scooped her up and all I could hear was this depressing breathing sound. I turned her around to get a good look at her and it was too much. Her bottom jaw was completely broken. It was literally hanging there and she was having problems breathing due to her nose. Her eye was also swollen shut and bleeding. Her teeth were also misaligned. We got her to the animal emergency room and they gave her pain meds and told us the news.

She had gotten hit by a car, but she was going to live! However, it was going to cose over 1500 USD just to get her through all the surgeries and all that. We aren't a poor family, but we just couldn't afford that much money for a cat we had gotten for free. So, we signed her over to the vet and the vet said they would fix her up, nurse her to health and put her up for adoption.

I know what I am about to say seems extremely messed up and mental, but oh well. Part of me wishes she did pass, not a very large part, but a small part. I'm super happy she is going to live and have a healthy happy life (I hope), but the selfishness in me can only think about how someone was going to be taking care of and playing with MY Nubbers.

I was never a cat person, we have 2 others that I like, but in all honesty if they were to die I don't think I would've been so torn up. I'm more of a dog person and I still have my little beagle, well little my ass, he is lazy and fat. I still love him though.

Nubbers just really came into my life and had me hooked. I loved her so much. She was the only animal I ever let sleep in my bed, the only cat I have ever really gotten to fully play with me a rough house. I'm 22 years old college student balling over a cat, never thought this day would come.Maybe one day she will find her way home.

I love you Nubbers!!

By the way, if you are wondering about her name. You will see why I named her Nubbins aka Nubbers aka Indiana Nubs (Due to her adventurous self :P)

I am thinking of doing a play-through of a game as I find myself with plenty of time on my hands due to only taking one summer class. However, I'm not too sure which game to do. This is where you guys come in. Do any of you have any games you would like to see, and would you like commentary o no commentary. I'm thinking about getting a game, but not too sure if I should get Alice, or wait for FEAR 3 (Yea yea, I know it will be a disgrace to the first).

So please, let me know what you guys would be interested in seeing.

PS.... It will have to be available on the PC. I have way too many games, so I will not be listing the ones I have. However, I do have a lot of games on my list here at GS, just not all of them.

Well another E3 has come and gone. As always it was a bit of a disappointment. I say this for the sheer amount of games and developers missing in action. Many PC gamers, as well as console gamers, are still anticipating Valve's next move in the HL series, Valve did not release any info for the series at E3, nor were they even there.

Rockstar was another company that failed to show up at E3. Of course given their recent lack of games on PC, I'm not sure I care. Still though, where the hell is the next GTA ?

Beyond Good and Evil 2...... Yea were the hell is that game. This game has been dangled in front of our eyes for the past couple of years, and still no solid information on it.

I was hoping we would get to see some STALKER 2 info. Seeing as how they are making it with multiplatform in mind, it has me really nervous. Oh well, I won't jump the gun too soon and yell "CONSOLIZATION!!!"

Now I am well aware there are many other games/companies missing at E3 2011, but these are the ones that stood out to me.

E3 wasn't all bad though. We got to see some awesome games and get info on upcoming games for 2011. It's going to be a great year, and with that being said let's hop into the net topic.

The rest of 2011 is packed full of games. Whether you are a PC or console gamer, you have plenty to look forward to. Seeing as I am a PC only gamer, I will concentrate on games available for the PC.

Future Blog Plans

I'm starting to find myself wanting to make my blog a bit more active than it is at this moment. I know at the end of the day these blogs don't mean jack crap, but it's nice to have a place to put my thoughts. Not too sure what I will be doing for it next, but if anyone has any ideas feel free to share them :).

I am looking to sell my old 5870 as I have upgraded. It is in fantastic shape and I still have the box and all of that.

I'm not 100% sure on the price, but if you are interested let me know and we will figure something out.

Well not quite yet. At the start of this generation I had a launch 360 and I acquired a PS3 later as well as a Wii around their launches. Well I traded all 3 in as I was not gaming on them, I was gaming on my computer. I traded them all in in the fall of '08/ I ended up re buying a ps3 during the summer of '09 and got to play a few games (KZ2, Infamous, Resistance 2, Uncharted 2). I enjoyed these games, but I did not finish any of them, and guess what, I traded my damn PS3 back in. I know just say it, "Miller, you are a **** idiot." Yea well, I can be sometimes.

Anyways, I'm not really sure as to why I never finished those games. I mean I was enjoying them, not the greatest games imo, but I was enjoying them. I think it was the controls personally. I jsut good not get the hang of using a controller, I felt confined to it. It may sound weird, but I am one weird dude.

Well, after purchasing my video cards I have about $600 left and well, I started to think. I kind of want to get eith a PS3 or 360, but I worry because the last time I had them, they just never held my attention and I traded them in. If I do get one I will not be doing that again, so that is not a problem.

There are a few games I am itching to play such as Alan Wake, RDR, Halo Reach, KZ3 (maybe), UC3, TLG, LA NOIR, and a couple others here and there. I know I am the only one who can make my mind up, but I really could use some advice :P.

IDK if it is just a sudden desire that will pass overtime or not, and I have been really thinking hard about it and still can not decide.

Do you guys mind helping a fellow gamer in need?

* I know some of you may see me posting in SW and may be thinking, "this goob bashes consoles every chance he gets." Well I don't really hate them the way I act in SW, I put on a totally different persona when I enter there and you have to to fight some of those people.

After researching and researching I finally decided to pull the trigger. I ordered meyself two GTX 570s which ended up costing me $699 not including shipping. I went with EVGA as they are my Nvidia MF of choice as Saphire is my AMD MF of choice.

I saved up $1000 for them and I could have gone a step higher with 2 GTX 580s, but there is one thing that made me decide to keep a little extra. Steam Sales! Not only do I have two beauties coming, but I have plenty of money to spend on the Steam sale. I haven't been this excited in a long while.

I fianlly get to play on of my favorite games, Cryostasis, in all of its glory once again.

Congrats Urban Meyers on win number 100. I know you are looking at my blog right now :P.
