Why do people say "PC wins!" when its not even a competition?. The PC always wins, becuase it has the ability to be upgraded, but some people don't care about tiny graphical details, and care more about the game itself (like i do). I have a pc that can run this game, but i got it on 360 based on the fact that its a long ass game and i would rather sit in a comfy position, than staring at a monitor on my computer chair for hours on end. I have a Ps3 aswell, but i didn't get it for that becuase i don't like the controller, so i always get multiplatform games on 360. These comparisons just make a bunch of little fanboys talk about how much they would love to have sex with the only console that there mum was willing to buy them. If you have all 3 of these you realise you don't actually care about the graphics cuase there just isn't a really noticable difference, only the fanboys make a big deal out of it.
To be honest i don't have a problem with Vista. But i would like to upgrade to this. I have never been one to care about speed like some very impatient people here. It doesn't matter if your pc boots up in 5 seconds if all your doing is watching porn and sitting on a game website..... not that i do that anyway "cough"
I think half life does it the best. They just plop you into a character "Gordon Freeman" that is just you, and things unfold around you. there are no cut scenes just scripted sequences that you watch as if you were standing there yourself. Nobody does a voice over and explains whats going on, you have just been put into the situation and have to figure it out yourself. Half life is probably the most interactive storytelling game there is.
half life 2 episode 3. Screw everything else when the hell is valve gonna show us somthing?. You can't just end on a like cliff hanger and then just not show the game for 70 years.
People who cry about vista have poor computers. I do all sorts of things with vista and i have never had a problem. It doesn't kill games, some people say YOU CAN'T PLAY OLD GAMES!!...um right click, properties, compatibliity?. I played resident evil 2 on vista and that was made for windows 98. If you don't have a good computer don't upgrade, its as simple as that. I would hope that most people have a computer that has atleast 2 GB ram now.
I find it funny that people say stuff about the Ps3 like "They are not taking advantage of its true power, all this stuff is multiplatform!!". Em.... the pc can go Waaaaay past this stuff, "crysis" anyone?. So if thats the Pc's child of beauty, and metal gear solid 4 is the Ps3's. How come the Ps3 is coming last in all these things but the Pc is coming first?. I think that if they put metal gear solid 4 on 2 discs instead of just saying "blu-ray or no deal" the 360 would play it just as good and from looking at these i think it would be quite possible for it to look better on the 360. That would make my day, the look on sony fanboys faces when that was shown, well i mean thier stupid responses "gamespot is biased and corrupt!! EVIL PLAN,EVIL PLAN!!".
Obviously your not gonna find a pc for $300 that matches the PS3's capabilities becuase the PC is alot more than just somthing you game on. Its expected to be higher than the consoles, for both a pc, and somthing that can match the consoles on games. But i think easily $500 would be a pc capable of playing games as good as the consoles and rememeber thats just games, theres plenty of things you can do with a decent/powerful machine.
HAHA! Gamminator the truth is gamespot isn't a corrupt biased site. I luagh everytime someone says that becuase believe it or not its always a PS3 user. They are so up themselfs that they think every site that compares games only to show that the PS3 version looks the worst is wrong, and must have some weird plan to destroy the world...by telling people... the PS3 looks slightly worse...?... Hmm, i don't know why that would be such a evil master plan to be honest. Probably becuase gamespot are not weird 14 year old boys who are upset becuase there mum would only buy them the one console and it turns out it was the wrong one. These sites actually have the money and resources to test these types of things so why listen to some little boy talking about his big TV and awesome-station 3?.
