Yep, I’m sure a lot of people would have bought it at a lower price point on impulse alone.

They could have made it free and charged for stuff in game and made more than this premium mobile approach.

I was simply pointing out that at a $1 they very possibly could have generated more revenue than at $10.

It’s a mobile game after all.

But: What if the fact people think Xbox and equate MP is partly the cause of their current market place predicament?

Maybe SP contributes in other ways.

These types of conversations are interesting because you look at things like:

1) PS4 leading

2) Switch selling really well

Out of the 3 companies it’s fair to say that Nintendo and PS4 are more SP focused while MS is more MP when it comes to first party isn’t it?

I’m not saying that’s the reason but obviously being thought of as more SP focused doesn’t hurt them. On the one hand you need to differentiate so maybe that’s their reasoning as well.
