Guess who's back? back again? I am back, tell some......phlem??

Well, it's been a while since i've posted in my blog, but I thought I'd drop a line to my thousands of fans *fans cheer*. Any...ways, I did see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, It was great, it really didn't feel like a re-make, because it wasn't. It was just another interpritation of the book. Depp actually made a great Willy Wonka, I only wished he would have stopped with the "my dear children" it got kind of annoying. I liked this version, in some ways, more than the original. Like the hinting that Wonka had some role in the untimely departures of his guests. They actually pointed it out in the film. Which I kind of always thought was missing from the original. Was it better than the original? no. Was it worse? no. It was just different.  I  now work at a video store. Busting Blocks. *wink wink* And people always ask me if it's better than the original....and I always say, it's just different, no better, no worse. Just Different, but Good. On to my first love. Video games. I just played Call of Duty on the XBOX 360!!! That's right it's Nov. 18th 2005. And I played X360! They have it on display at Target. I loved it. It was so incredible. I've never saw anything like it in my life. At one point I actually thought I was watching a movie. It was amazing. My GF couldn't pry me away from the alouring hum of it's fan. The incredible glow of the HD Tv I was playing it on. My jaw dropped when I saw bullet holes peircing the sides of barrels, and light shinning through....I just cant say enough about it. My family is getting tired of me talking about it, but I just can't stop. Anyone that misses out on this incredible piece of machinery, it truly missing out. Dont get me wrong, I'm sure the PS3 is probably gonna be just, if not more, astonishing, but with the holiday's approaching, I'm making sure I'm on Santa's good list.

*enter here another annoying little rant* oh forget it, i cant think of anything

Hey, I took up all the Title space, I didn't even plan that. Well, I did go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was very intresting and also very good. Depp, actually played this role very well. The thing is, you have to look at this movie as, it's own. Not a remake, not a tribute or anything like that. It's based on the Book, but it surpasses those limits as well. This movie is over the top, crazy, fun and an overall joy. I instantly wanted to own this on DVD so I could watch it over and over, just as I do the "original" Willy Wonka .....blah blah blah. Anyway, It was a great movie, and I'm going to own it the first day it comes out on DVD.

In other news....well, thats about it. hmmm. nothing else really.....oh yeah, I joined two Fantasy Football leagues. One with the Sports Lounge Union. and the other is for Broncos Fans. hahaha I got the Defense and Special teams for the Broncos. lol. This is the first time I've tried the Fantasy sports things. I hope I do okay.

I guess, THAT's it. hmm. I dont know why I'm typing while I'm thinking, this is stupid. You're actually reading my thoughts, right now. Well, not now, but when I was typing this you were reading what I typed as I was thinking it? *confused* I better go. You're scaring me.

Do I have to enter a title?

Well, we're back again. It's been a while since i've done an entry, but here goes nothing. I'm no longer playing Xmen Legends or Prince of Perisa, I'm kind of on and off of Burnout 3. I'm mainly into my sports games as of now. I 'm playing NHL 2k5, NBA 2K5 and of course NFL 2K5. These games are incredible. The graphics and gameplay are the best I've ever saw in a game. The Depth and detail in these games is a huge plus. I'm a local kind of guy so I'm playing as all Denver/Colorado teams.

Now off of games and on to movies. I recently saw Fantastic 4 and Mr. & Mrs. Smith at the Drive-in. And I must say they were both great movies. I'm not a fan of Angelina Jolie at all. In fact I've only like one of her previous films. Anyway, the action and plot in this movie are so good, it makes up for her being in it. (ouch) The twists and turns flip you back and forth the entire length of the movie. And the cleaver smart Ash remarks that banter back and forth, gave me and my GF some hardy chuckles.
(did I just say "chuckles" ?)

Surprisingly a great movie based on the popular comic Fantastic four was just a joy to watch. This movie was so good, I didn't want it to end. Now, I never read the comics, so I have no idea if it lived up to the expecatations of Fan-4 lovers. but I personally thought this was one of the best Action movies I've ever saw. And this comes frightingly close to beating X-men, in the comic movie department.

Another movie I saw was IRobot, I rented this movie, but it was no slouch. It was better than I had ever anticipated. Will Smith actually fit this role. It felt as if the role was designed for him. Another plot twisting/ mind boggling film. Just overall a great action movie.

As for this weekend, there's no question about what movie I'm going to see. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opens this Friday. I cannot wait. I'm a huge fan of the "original " Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" I hope this one doesn't ruin it too badly.

Well I guess it's time for me to be heading on out. And remember, never pet a goose with a day-old peice of bread. see ya.

Another day in the life of a................ person?

All..............righty. I'm still playing those games, and now I've started ANOTHER game. How am I gonna keep track of these. I'm now playing X-men: Legends. And I'm kinda starting Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. I'm more into Xmen, but Im not a big RPG fan, so it's kinda hard to get used to playing a RPG style game, even though it has alot of action. XL is acutally pretty fun, my favorite character is Iceman, he's awsome. well, thats all I have for today, Love, peace and chicken grease.

Yeah

This is my first entry in my journal, well, I guess I'll talk about what games I'm currently playing. Right now, I just got into Midnight Club 3. It's pretty good, I like the way the cars look, I think they're better than NFSU 2. The cars really remind me of the cars in GTA. Their both made by R* but I really didn't expect it to feel so familar. I'm getting alittle bit better. I've won some races, but I'm actually splitting my time between MC3, and Burnout 3.

Burnout is the funnest game I've played in a long time. At first , before I actually played it, I thought, "oh, another racing game, whoopie" But after one event in this game, I was hooked, I mean the graphics, the sparks, the crashes, everthing just seems to flow so seemlessly. You'd think that ramming people off the road would get repetetive and boring, but, IT DOESN'T. lol

I'm also right in the middle of Killzone, All of the games I'm talking about Right now are on the PS2. I'll talk about my Xbox games later. Killzone is a great FPS. It misses on a few elements of the FPS that I think should be there. Dont get me wrong, I'm hooked on this game as well, and it'e extremely fun, but the lack of a jump button really puts a damper on this game. And the storyline seems to pull you along a certain path. Invisible walls, and laughable puzzles add to it's confusion. I mean, there were invisible walls to stop me from falling off the edge. Come on now......

well, i'm tired of writing, and if you're actually reading this, you're probably tired of reading, so, until next time, dont eat green bugs, unless they tell you to.
