Well, it's been a while since i've posted in my blog, but I thought I'd drop a line to my thousands of fans *fans cheer*. Any...ways, I did see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, It was great, it really didn't feel like a re-make, because it wasn't. It was just another interpritation of the book. Depp actually made a great Willy Wonka, I only wished he would have stopped with the "my dear children" it got kind of annoying. I liked this version, in some ways, more than the original. Like the hinting that Wonka had some role in the untimely departures of his guests. They actually pointed it out in the film. Which I kind of always thought was missing from the original. Was it better than the original? no. Was it worse? no. It was just different. I now work at a video store. Busting Blocks. *wink wink* And people always ask me if it's better than the original....and I always say, it's just different, no better, no worse. Just Different, but Good. On to my first love. Video games. I just played Call of Duty on the XBOX 360!!! That's right it's Nov. 18th 2005. And I played X360! They have it on display at Target. I loved it. It was so incredible. I've never saw anything like it in my life. At one point I actually thought I was watching a movie. It was amazing. My GF couldn't pry me away from the alouring hum of it's fan. The incredible glow of the HD Tv I was playing it on. My jaw dropped when I saw bullet holes peircing the sides of barrels, and light shinning through....I just cant say enough about it. My family is getting tired of me talking about it, but I just can't stop. Anyone that misses out on this incredible piece of machinery, it truly missing out. Dont get me wrong, I'm sure the PS3 is probably gonna be just, if not more, astonishing, but with the holiday's approaching, I'm making sure I'm on Santa's good list.Â
