I doubt anyone reads this, but in the event that someone does, here's my thoughts on video games and movies: they need to be separate. Why does ever movie that comes out have an accompanying video game on every conceivable console before the movie is released? For instance, King Kong: not only will it be terrible because it's ANOTHER remake of remake of a remake..., but the game will undoubtedly follow much of the screenplay.
Along those lines I have another issue with Hollywood (besides remaking old movies because they cannot come up with new ideas), but they take video games and make movies from them, i.e., Doom, Tomb Raider, etc. Why? Come up with something new for once, Hollywood, or else stop complaining about a "down" year at the theaters; nobody wants to see the same old crap over and over, on big screen, on little screen, or on computer screen.
