@sith_acolyte15: Not sure how other genres have improved so much more than platformers. Are shooter games about something other than shooting people today? And dont say games like Far Cry and The Division with customisations, skins and mmo level up inputs, these are hybrid ideas. How have they improved on the actual shooting parts in comparisson to the early 2d shooters in the 90s?
@RabidBurp: True. Although its worth pointing out that camera problems have been common among platformer games for decades. Super Mario is one of the rare fiew to get it right. Assasins creeds platforming sections also work pretty well, although not flawless either
@groowagon: I guess some enjoy oldschool, they find it less complicating. I know i do in some extent, thinking of the dreaded inskippeble Battlefield Hardline cutt scenes
Sad to read they messed up the level design, that was Banjos strongest point. Although glad they improved in some areas as well. Looking forward to this on the Switch. This year is platformer year for me
