Last Tuesday I had to drag one of the old pedestal fans out of the garage to put in one of the bedrooms. It was pretty dusty...it's older than I am! So I took it outside and got a brush, holding my breath and trying to get the damn thing clean. Dust and rust blowing everywhere...needless to say I threw it out. I didn't realise how much rust was on it until I moved the dust.
Too late for me though. I had to breath eventually and as soon as I did my chest tightened. By the next morning I was fighting for breath and coughing badly, though not as bad as my normal asthma cough. Thursday the Dr tells me to just remember to take my asthma meds, my lung function is 79% and they got it up to 84%. Monday I had to go back to the Dr and now I'm on 3 puffers (Ventolin, Atrovent and Symbicort), the nebulizer, antibiotics, pain killersand oral steroids. Asthmatic bronchitis is not pleasant and not easy to get rid of. My medication schedule is ruling my life right now.
The up-side is that all the time spent on the nebulizer has meant that I've been able to catch up on some of my old games. I restarted Urbz: Sims in the City. And am working through unlocking stuff in Mario Kart: DS because my game cartridge is new. My old cartridge has everything unlocked but Hannah got that when we got the DSi's and the new copy of MK.
Off to EB Games tomorrow (or mayby GAME if I feel traitorous) to trade in 3-5 DS games. Dodgy DS games that I'm actually ashamed to have in my collection anyway, but I know I won't get enough in trade value to get a copy of Style Boutique (Savvy) or any other game I want. Might put it towards a copy of Sims 3, a PS3 or just save it for the sales after Christmas in Melbourne. I've never traded anything before (because it's all MINE!) so it's all new for me :)
