Well, it seems as though I've stumbled back to my old Gamespot blog once again. I haven't posted anything since February 2010, which seems an incredibly long time ago. Not sure what happened with this blog and Gamespot in general, I guess I just lost interest.

The main reason for this is just see if anyone remembers me and what I did here. Any of you guys remember me? I was reading through some of my old blogs and they brought back some great memories. I don't know if this will become a regular thing again, I highly doubt it. I'm now a junior in high school and its very time consuming with the amount of work that I have undertaken this school year.

My old ending used to be "until next time, see ya," but it seems a bit juvenile. Yea just let me know what you guys have been up to and if I should do this regularlyagain because its a possibility.

Yea I haven't blogged in nearly two months, since Christmas, so I though I would just check in with all of you guys. So uh, how's everyone doing? Been playing any good games recently? I've been playing mostly Modern Warfare 2, but not a ton cause of school and all that. I really need a new game for my Xbox 360 so I was going to ask you guys if there were any new games that you would recommended. That would be good.

Well its Christmas Eve today and Christmas has really seemed like it get here rather quickly during the past few weeks. Hopefully everyone has a good Christmas and gets and gives all the gifts they want! I am hoping for Modern Warfare 2, Halo 3: ODST, and Assassin's Creed II or Batman: Arkham Asylum all for the Xbox 360. Also I want the wireless internet adapter for the Xbox so I can finally get on Xbox Live! Again, have a merry Christmas! Until next time, see ya.

I just wanted to check in with you guys to tell you all that I hope you are having a great Thanksgiving! We ate a few hours ago and everyone is just relaxing right now.

I got a few days ago FIFA Soccer 10 and have been playing a lot of that recently. It is a really awesome and insanely fun game. Probably the best sports game I've every played.

Yes GS, another one of my good friends has joined. His user name is Steelkill777. He is a big fan of Microsoft and Nintendo probably both the same. He is also a very skilled gamer so watch out if you happen to come across him in Modern Warfare or Halo online. So, if you guys could go check out his profile and track him, that would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I just got a Xbox 360 last week! Yes, just in time for Modern Warfare 2! The Wii was getting stale to me and the Xbox had many more games for it that interested me a lot more than the Wii's games. Especially the Halo and Call of Duty series. Also the sports games like FIFA and Madden are much better on the 360. I brought the Xbox 360 Elite home last Sunday and Lego Batman and Pure came with it as part of the holiday bundle. They are both actually very good games. Pure is an awesome ATV racer and my sister and I really enjoy playing the missions co-op in Lego Batman. I also got the first Modern Warfare, getting prepared for the new one that came out this week. I just finished the single player campaign on Saturday and it was probably one of the best single player experiences that I've had in a video game. I also want to check out the multiplayer sometime because it is supposed to be the best part of the game. Now I can't wait until I can get MW2!

And sometime this week I leveled up to level 23: Super Bagman. Here is the description from GS:

Level 23-Super Bagman- An arcade game developed by Stern in 1984, in which you played as an escaped convict collecting bags of money from a mine.

Sounds like a very interesting game.

Hello Gamespot, I'm blogging today to tell everyone out there about a newcomer to the Gamespot world. His user name is masterhedgie and is a really cool guy. So go help out masterhedgie! Probably as you could tell he is a big fan of hedgehogs and his favorite system is the PSP. He is a big Monster Hunter Freedom fan.

Too bad about Link, Gordon Freeman had late help from the people at Valve and managed to easily beat Link in the final day. Apparently, Freeman is still getting that help because he has a healthy lead against the face of video games, Mario! Yes Mario is getting beat by Freeman. If you could go out and vote for Mario then that would be greatly appreciated. Help the best video game character of all time out!

Yes, everyone! Link, one of the best video game characters ever, is in trouble! Currently he is losing to Gordon Freeman in the Greatest Game Hero contest. I think that Link is way better a character than Gordon Freeman, and I feel Link is very deserving to face Mario in the finals! So, if everyone could help him out that can, that would be greatly appreciated.

Yes its that time again. I've leveled up to level 22 Blaster Master. Pretty cool. Here is the description from Gamespot:

Level 22 -Blaster Master - One of the greatest (and hardest) NES games of all time. Game play switched between walking and driving, which was pretty darn cool at the time.

Cool new level but I've never played the game. I'm about eight levels away from 30! Which will be a big acheivement.

In other news, the Greatest Game Hero tournament has been going on. The storied 16 have been narrowed down to the eilte 8. They are: Mario, Kratos, Ryu, Gordon Freeman, Samus, Mega Man, Duke Nukem, and Link. Right now, Mario is beating Kratos, Gordon is beating Ryu, and Link is beating Duke Nukem, all rather easily. The only close match is Samus and Mega Man, which Samus is winning be about 12%. I picked Mega Man so go out and vote for Mega Man! Hopefully he will be able to pull it out.

Round Two

Mario vs. The Prince - Mario wins 70.7% to 29.3%. I picked Mario, picked him to win it all too.

Kyle Katarn vs. Lara Croft - Lara wins 72.5% to 27.5%. I picked Lara, I didn't even have Kyle Katarn making it, but I knew Lara would win no matter who she faced against.

Cloud Strife vs. Little Mac - Cloud wins 52.2% to 47.8%. I picked Cloud, but it was way way closer than I thought it would be.

Pikachu vs. Kratos - Kratos wins 55% to 45%. I picked Kratos, close but I knew Kratos would pull it out.

Wander vs. Ryu - Ryu wins 76.7% to 23.3%. I picked Ryu, he wins in a blow out.

Niko Bellic vs. Strider Hiryu - Niko wins 68.4% to 31.6%. I picked Niko, wins easily.

Yoshi vs. Gordon Freeman - Gordon Freeman wins 65.5% to 34.5%. I picked Gordon, Yoshi had no chance really.

Alcuard vs. Snake - Snake wins 81.9% to 18.1%. I picked Snake, but he won by a ton more than I thought he would. Very surprising.

Bub & Bob vs. Sonic - Bub & Bob wins 50.5% to 49.5%. I had Master Chief, but Bub & Bob manages to survive another round.

Frogger vs. Samus Aran - Samus wins 80.3% to 19.7%. I picked Samus, Frogger had no chance.

Rachet & Clank vs. Mega Man - Mega Man wins 73.2% to 26.8%. I picked Mega Man, he wins easily.

Pac-Man vs. Dante - Pac-Man vs. 55.7% to 44.3%. I picked Pac-Man, kinda surprised he made it this far.

Ryu Hayabusa vs. Sackboy - Ryu H. wins 67.2% to 32.8%. I picked Sackboy, I was surprised he lost by that much.

Leon Kennedy vs. Duke Nukem - Duke wins 60.9% to 39.1%. I picked Duke, no surprise really.

Fox McCloud vs. Link - Link wins 84.5% to 15.6%. I picked Link, have him in the finals, but it was weird that Fox lost worse than Earthworm Jim did.

Banjo & Kazooie vs. Donkey Kong - DK wins 80.4% to 19.6%. I picked DK, kinda surprised he won by that much though.

So there's my recap of round 2. Not too many surprises, except that Bub & Bob thing. I only lost two games in that round and I have a total of 61 points after two round, which actually puts my at number 70 in the overall standings. I think that I am doing very well.
