I got a chance to play the demo at NYCC and based on my experience it still continues on the action base type of gameplay. The movement of the characters are fast where you can zip through hallways and around enemies; seems a bit off and strange at times. It is nothing at all like the original RE atmosphere. After reading an interview in Game Informer about how the team wanted to go back to the survival horror roots with this title, it doesn't seem like that at all. Perhaps the final product will offer something more.

During the E3 Live interview on GameTrailers, Jason Rubin goes on and on about how nobody knows what the future holds for any of these new consoles, anything is possible how things can turn around and consoles begin to start moving in the long run. Then he suddenly starts to switch into M$ fanboy mode and says how he has a few friends that work at M$ and he hears big things are happening, anything is possible, anything can change. So, after this interview, he's just another guy giving another opinion.

The Evil Within is not 'scary.' It's a slasher movie with a lot of un-necessary blood and gore. It's a bit sad that even the original creators of 'horror' are loosing touch with what 'horror' games use to be. Compelling story, characters and symbolism goes a long way. Silent Hill 1-4.

There are plenty of women in the gaming industry but I think what she meant to say was, we need more female producers that need to be recognized on top of the ladder. Hell, even my dog can give me creative ideas through emotions. Doesn't just have to be women.

People who dislike a product don't have to make it a miserable experience for everyone else. You are not 'winning' by any means. Buy another product instead that suits your interest.
